Great location and value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful. They gave us the apartment for no charge as it was unused as zi am disabled. Only downside was needed more milk for my tea in room but husband said well it is a pub. The rolling river was a great view out the window and field out the back with camper vans and picking tables. Felt very comfortable with the place

Very disappointed to find no en suite and it is in the small print. This should be more clear, as every other booking was en suite I now realise I should always look at small print. Yes making facilities in a kitchen where I had to search every cupboard to find a cup which wasn’t clean. I cancelled the next six nights and booked elsewhere

Pleasant nature stay 👌 The room was basic but very comfortable, unfortunately other guests were inconsiderate with having the tv very loud as well as in the early morning departure and using their phone on load speaker in the shared bathroom. It was very pleasant and lovely to see the ducks, red robin and black bird on their usual trail in the beer garden. It would be great for guests to able to feed them with some dried meal worms or bird seed at a little cost which I would generously do. I didn’t actually know that they did breakfast that could be pre ordered until I read the sheet that was tucked into a draw so didn’t get to try that one. The evening meal was nice and we’re going to order the following evening but seemed to have closed early l believe. Overall this was a very pleasant place to stay and very good value for money.
