Nam Ou River Lodge

ราคาห้องพักต่อคนไม่แพง แต่อาจเป็นเพราะลาวเพิ่งเปิดประเทศ นักท่องเที่ยวยังไม่เยอะ ห้องพักที่จอง ที่นอนนอนสบาย แต่ห้องน้ำไม่มีฝักบัวชำระ กระดาษทิชชูก็หมด ถามคุณตาที่ดูแลห้องพักก็คุยไม่เข้าใจ น้ำดื่มมีขวดเล็กๆแค่ขวดเดียว อุปกรณ์อาบน้ำเช่นสบู่ก็ไม่มี สรุปคือแทบไม่มีอะไรเลยนอกจากที่นอน เหมือนฝากคนแก่เฝ้า แต่สื่อสารไม่รู้เรื่อง ที่พักอยู่ใกล้ตลาดเช้า แต่ไกลจากสะพานหนองเขียวพอสมควร

There was an overbooking, the owner justified himself by telling us that he was at a party and drunk the day before. ( by the way we were already in our room when after half an hour he send us away, when other guests with the same name as me arrived). The room was already paid, we get no refund, he just offered us one night in one horrible place, even though I paid for two nights. He was really rude, and aggressive. But fortunately we found an other place where to stay super lovely, and more comfortable.

I made a reservation for 4 nights, 30.11-04.12.2023. I checked out in less than 30 minutes I checked in, the bathroom had a lot of mold on the wall (in Agoda fotos didn't apear) and the room was smelly like wasn't refresjed for a long time. I asked to talk to the owner/manager, she came, I proposed her to keep the price for 1 night accomodation and Agoda comission and the rest to pay me back. The terms of my reservations was no refund. She didn't want to hear, I made the proposal in email, too, she said I should enjoy my holiday. Maybe she doesn't know English or she pretends but at the end, all it matters is the real room conditions weren't as they were presented in the fotos. The room it was sold as an superioa one but is for low budget and this for the people who can stand the smell and mold on the walls. This is not the only place in the village which has a wonderful river view, next to the bridge are others!

We hadden vantevoren geboekt. De eigenaar gaf ons niet de kamer die we hadden geboekt. Toen we hier iets van zeiden. Namen hij en zijn vrouw een hele dreigende houding aan. Ze wilden ons daarna veel meer laten betalen dan wat de afspraak was. Ik voelde me hier absoluut niet veilig.

Lage super direkt am Fluß. In weniger als 5 Minuten läuft man zu 2 sehr guten Restaurants und auch zur Brücke sind es höchstens 10 Minuten,ebenso lange zur Busstation. Das Zimmer ( Nr.7) hat einen kleinen Balkon mit Blick auf den Fluss. Zimmer ist groß , ruhig und sauber mit bequemen Betten. Leider wird bei Bezahlung in Kip eine Service Charge erhoben und die Mitarbeiter sind auch nicht sonderlich freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Estuve cinco días en total. Los primeros tres días 15usd por noche en Agoda por adelantado. Al llegar pedí dos noches más (el lugar es agradable) y el señor había cerrado la cuenta y me cobró 40usd por dos noches. Sufrí su destrato. Limpiaron mi habitación dos veces. En la segunda, me faltaron 700usd de mi mochila que alguien había tomado. Estoy 99,9% de seguro que mi dinero estaba en la mañana y por la tarde cuando revisé ya no (habían tomado la mitad de mi dinero, dejando lo otro mal acomodado). Al informar al señor de la situación nadie se hizo cargo, perdí mi dinero. Estoy casi seguro que alguien debió tomarlo. Los únicos que ingresaron a mi habitación ese día fueron ellos, para “limpiar” justo el día antes de me tenía que de hacer el check out. He leído que es una práctica que sucede en otros sitios. Es una lástima, los turistas no queremos llevarnos esa mala impresión de un destino tan solo por este tipo de problemas. Les pido, a quienes vayan a este lugar, que cuiden sus pertenencias. Nunca dejen valor en su habitación, podría pasarles lo mismo que a mí.
