Our stay at Buckler’s lodge was simply lovely. The wild views (accompanied by lavish wildlife) amazed us as as we awoke. and as well as having amazing rooms, the staff were outstanding in answering any questions and making us feel welcome. Could not recommend this place more for a family/romantic stay- it’s perfect for everyone!!

Beautiful lodge in a beautifully quiet and serene location. We enjoyed watching and listening to the wildlife during the day. Dinner waiter service could have been better - we were not offered a drink and had to ask after the first course, we were given the bill before we had been offered the dessert menu, The starter and desserts were delicious. The main courses a little disappointing, chips were very greasy and over-cooked, beef curry was exceptionally dry and hence stodgy. We were told the restaurant closed at 9:30pm and needed to have ordered by 8:00pm which was fine. At 9:30pm a party of about 8 adults and a small child arrived to eat a pre-ordered meal. Unfortunately they continued to make a lot of noise and kick a football about for several hours while we were tring to sleep in room 2. It was disrespectful to all the guests who were staying and had to endure their partying. Breakfast was very good. Overall I would recommend this hotel and consider staying again. We were just unlucky with the other guests who were staying that night. However, I would have thought the owners would not have allowed the party to have gone on late into the night especially when people are getting up at 5:00am to go into Kruger.

We had an unforgettable weekend at Buckler's Safari Lodge, located near Crocodile Bridge, Kruger Park. The lodge exceeded all our expectations with its beautiful setting, exceptional service, and serene atmosphere. The food was a true highlight—delicious, well-prepared, and satisfying. Whether it was relaxing on the deck, enjoying the wildlife, or simply soaking in the tranquility, every moment was perfect. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxurious escape close to nature.

We recently spent four nights at Bucker’s Lodge in a family suite and every aspect of our stay was excellent. We did a full day safari drive with Gilman who was knowledgeable and personable. Both the breakfast and dinners were delicious and varied and the staff were friendly and dedcated. We would gladly return.

Absolutely first class experience. From arrival the staff were helpful, friendly and excellent. The setting of the lodge off the banks of the river is stunningly picturesque. The rooms are beautiful, tasteful and spacious. The food is impeccable. Wonderful experience and it definitely made our honeymoon so memorable. Thank you bucklers
