Fabulous place. Staff were amazing. BBQ dinner was excellent as was breakfast. Perfectly located not too far away from the goat market (make sure you visit for the goat market on Friday). So friendly, room was excellent, bathroom was roomy and the shower perfect.

t is different then other Hotels.. We first visited this Hotel then really love it here. Garden is pureee love :)) There is even swing in the garden.. Spacious place for breakfast or just sunbathing . Rooms are also well designed. Price is so good for this facilities of he hotel. Also thankyou so much to Manager Who assisted us very kindly and informatively in the evening at our visit. I definetely stay here in my Nizwa visit. Also there is SPA. Rooms have so nice bath/ jakuzi equipments. Its also i think for a honeymoon or event hotel :) Clean, decorative, reasonable price, nice team.

The Location is excellent close to the Nizwa Fort and Souk. Everything is within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. They have a great terrace and extended patio for breakfast and dinner. The atmosphere is great and very natural. The staff was extremely friendly, warm and hospitable.

Fantastic, friendly and traditional guesthouse. I stayed here with my 7 year old daughter and mother in law. Whilst not a luxurious hotel with all amenities, the guesthouse gives you an insight into a traditional omani way of life. We loved the experience. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. There was a fan and ac unit, as well as a fridge. Some rooms open out onto a terrace with amazing views. The garden area is lovely. My daughter loved playing on the swings. Each night we enjoyed the bbq served there for a reasonable price. The location is great everything is within walking distance, including the Friday goat market which was a fantastic experience. We had booked the spa room. However on arrival we discovered it was windowless which made us feel claustrophobic. The staff were so helpful in helping us to find another room even though they were fully booked. The staff were amazing throughout and really made our stay special. Whilst we were all female travelers, we felt safe and well taken care of. Thanks so much. We hope to be back one day.

I have rated my 'experience' excellent because staying here gave an insight into the Omani way of life. This is not a five star luxury hotel! We used Waze to navigate to Nizwa. This resulted in a white-knuckle drive along single lane winding roads until we came upon a no-entry sign. I parked and walked to the guest house to seek help. I met Ali, who was delightful. We walked back to the car and he offered to drive (happy to accept the offer). He drove through a narrow arch the width of parking space and turned the car round and parked it on a wider section of the road and helped us with our bags back to the guest house. We completed the check-in seated at a small table with Omani coffee and dates. Ali gave us some helpful information before showing us to our room. The room was clean and simple. The bathroom had all the essentials but the craftsmanship was more expedient than an exemplar! The tap (faucet) on the wash basin was free to swivel and the floor and wall tiles looked like they had been laid by a beginner. The ceiling fan was effective and the air conditioner unit kept us cool at night. We liked the roof terrace with seating. It was a good place to sit and read. The guest house is well-located for the fort/castle and the souk. There isn't a great choice of places to eat in Nizwa so we went to the barbecue in the garden (from 6 pm) and enjoyed kebabs with moutabel and hummus. We also booked breakfast for the morning. The breakfast was Omani-style: fruit, Arabic bread with foul medamas (fava beans), western sliced white bread, boiled egg and karak spicy tea with milk and sugar. We stayed two nights, but with hindsight, arriving around lunchtime, it's possible to see the best of Nizwa in an afternoon/evening plus the next morning. If driving a rental car, follow signs to the souk, park in the large car park there and walk to the guest house, to avoid the narrow roads.

This family home has been beautifully transformed into a comfortable, stylish guesthouse. Ali your host has many great options for resturants and activities in Nizwa. Great location in the centre of town!

We loved our stay at this beautiful guesthouse. Traditional styled rooms, that are spacious and clean. An awesome terrace with great views. Staff are very friendly and Ali is very accommodating and has great recommendations on where to eat and things to do. Great location - highly recommend!

Il y a un choix à poser à Nizwa. Soit dormir dans un hôtel hors de la vieille ville (parfois à quelques km) ou choisir les dédales de la vieille ville près du splendide Fort. Cette Guest House est ici parfaitement tenue. Ali et sa famille sont aux petits soins pour leur clientèle. Comme pour tous les établissements de ce type à Nazwa, la chambre n'est pas XXL mais c'est confortable. La situation est top et le jardin est un atout avec un petit déjeuner en plein air très correct (pancakes notamment). Toute requête est immédiatement satisfaite. Puisque nous n'avions pas de 4x4, Ali nous a aussi emmené toute une journée visiter agréablement Misfah et le canyon de Djebel Shams, et ce pour un prix (un brin discuté) très raisonnable. La Guest House est située dans la vieille ville est (comme bien d'autres) est difficile à trouver dans des ruelles très étroites. On s'est un peu énervés au volant avant de se garer (ce qu'on aurait dû faire dès l'arrivée) sur un des des deux très grands parkings près du Fort et du Souk. Appelé par téléphone, on est alors venu nous chercher pour nous guider dans le dédale. Et notre voiture de location a été aimablement garée par la Guest House à deux pas de l'hôtel. Inutile de se fier aux indications (arrivée par l'arrière du jardin): on parie que vous ne trouverez pas plus que nous le chemin...

Guest house realizzata in due vecchi palazzi in adobe ristrutturati del suq di Nizwa. Le camere sono abbastanza spaziose e ben arredate, una è dotata anche di una grande vasca con idromassaggio ma è priva di finestre. Si narra che in queste vecchie abitazioni la notte girino gli "spiriti" di chi ci ha vissuto. Una notte ero nella seconda struttura e verso le 22.00 ho sentito dei rumori e delle voci provenire provenire dall'andito e dalla camera a fianco, ho pensato fossero altri ospiti della struttura e non mi sono preoccupato. Verso le 22.30 qualcuno cerca di forzare la mia porta, mi alzo prontamente, vado ad aprire e vedo 2 ragazzini che scappano dalle scale. Chiamo la reception e li avviso dell'accaduto e loro, come se non fosse successo nulla, mi dicono che controlleranno le telecamere a circuito chiuso per vedere chi fosse e mi dicono di non preoccuparmi, al che chiedo che mi sia data una camera nella struttura principale. Arriva il portiere e gli spiego bene l'accaduto, controlla l'altra camera ma è tutto a posto e mi accompagna nella struttura principale dove mi da un'altra camera. La mattina seguente incontro il proprietario ma anche lui non sembra un gran che preoccupato e anche nei giorni seguenti non ritorna mai sull'argomento. Avendo letto le leggende su questi "spiriti" e visto il comportamento del titolare e dei dipendenti ne ho dedotto che i due ragazzi fossero stati pagati da lui per far spaventare gli ospiti e alimentare così la leggenda.
