Van der Valk Hotel Nijmegen-Lent

The stay was truly excellent. The staff was exceptionally helpful and always available, yet never intrusive, making us feel welcomed and well cared for at all times. The rooms were outstanding—clean, modern, and very comfortable, creating an instant sense of relaxation and comfort. Overall, a fantastic experience that exceeded our expectations in every way!

Hotel was as expected - excellent. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, food decent and rooms well kept with a good view of the city and beyond.

The hotel was overall very good. Just a couple pont of feedback; - restaurant staff was a little chatty so we had to ask for service all the time - bad to non internet connection in the room

Lovely hotel. Great location right next to the train station, 4 mins on the train into the centre of Nijmegen with trains every 30 mins. Helpful and friendly staff. Free car parking, easy to get a space in the multi storey car park attached to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was incredible! Crepe/ omelette live cooking, extensive hot and cold buffets and even Prosecco if you fancied it.

The Hotel Van der Valk Nijmegen-Lent is quite simply outstanding! We travelled from Wales, UK, and this is the sixth year that we have stayed at the hotel during the period of the Vierdaagse 4-day Nijmegen Marches (second to third week of July). The hotel offers first class accommodation and service. The restaurant and bar are spacious and comfortable, and offer an excellent service and wide selection of food and drinks throughout the day and evening. Decor throughout is elegant. The hotel is located close to the city and is easily accessible by road and rail. It has a large integral multi-storey car park with free parking, and covered, direct and easy access to the hotel. It lies adjacent to the Nijmegen-Lent railway station, with frequent trains and a four minute journey into the central station and city of Nijmegen. We run out of superlatives in praise of the hotel staff! From Marije the Director and Marijn the Marketing and Communications Manager, to the reception, restaurant, Lola’s Bar and housekeeping staff, who are all just wonderful, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Communications throughout the booking, main stay and departure process were efficient and well coordinated. In our experience as international travellers of many years, the staff offer a wonderful, warm and personalised touch to your stay and are a credit to the hotel and the wider Van der Valk group. First stay in this excellent hotel, room was amazing with great views and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. Staff were all vertical friendly and helpful.
