Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 5 nights, as he is from Durcal, which is the next village along from Niguelas., where we were coming over to visit his family. We were greeted by the host, Inmaculada, who was so welcoming and kind. She showed us around the hotel, which is so picturesque, and quintessentially Spanish, with a large courtyard in the centre, where we sat to eat lunch, which Inmaculada had kindly prepared for us on arrival. There is also a courtyard out the back, where would sit and enjoy breakfast, which was included in the price for the room. We are both vegan, and the host was super accommodating for our diet. The room itself was spacious, clean, and super comfortable, with a giant super-king bed. There was also a small balcony, with views out over the mountains. The room was freshened up, and cleaned every day. Niguelas itself is a super quaint little village, frozen in time in the best possible way, with beautiful walks along the mountains, flowing water, and breath-taking views. Would highly recommend a visit to the Centro de Interpretación Almazara La Erilla - an old Olive Mill, which has been converted into a museum, and also a walk along Sendero de La Pavilla. I wasn't sure what to expect of the weather with it being the end of October - but we were blessed with blue skies, and sunshine every day. Can't wait to come back soon! :)
