We were in room 1 at the back of the house. It is a great setting and the room is beautifully furnished. The lodge is nicely isolated but also within walking distance of where the action is. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay at a really classy place.

A true Gem in the Karoo. We had an amazing stay. The unit was well equipped for the stay; it was neat and clean. The location was superb, the setting AMAZING- beautiful and tranquil garden setting. The property is walking distance to all the attractions and restaurants are at your doorstep. We really loved our stay and will definitely be back!!

We had the pleasure of staying at Furrows Lodge in Room 4, and it was an absolute delight! The room was spacious, featuring a separate bedroom, a cozy living area with a kitchenette, and a massive fireplace that added so much charm. The air conditioning in the bedroom kept it wonderfully cool, ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep. What really stood out was the beautifully curated interior — Persian carpets, and stunning artwork, creating an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The manicured gardens were equally impressive, offering the perfect spot to relax, complete with a splash pool and a braai area. Furrows Lodge is a true gem and, without a doubt, one of the best places we’ve stayed this trip. Thank you, Althea, for such a memorable experience. We can’t wait to return! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Nieu Bethesda

very pleasant spot under the poplar trees - private, and comfortable. Nicely appointed room, with interesting interior and a tiny fireplace - which will be wonderful in winter. Althea was attentive and friendly and very helpful - pointing us to the Furrows hike - well worth doing - a walk along the beautiful "leiwater" chanel into the mountain. I would stay there again!

Great Lodge. The aircon helps for the Karoo heat. Beautiful garden and great splash pool. Althea is the best Host. It was good to stay at a up market place what is Pet friendly. The rooms are morden and super clean. Attention to detail was surprising.....👌

Was not sure what to expect but had this fairytale wonder hopes. All expectations were not met but exceeded from the road to Nieu Bethesda to Furrows Lodge. This is a must do for all. Tx Althea your such an adorable person

Althea does her job with a big hart, the room was verry nice and super clean.Bed was not so tall. The garden was stunning. N.Bethesda is a good place to settle down& do nothing! Ask for the restaurant of her husband, best place to eat !!!

Our stay at the lodge was excellent. The location is walking distance from all the main attractions in town. Our room was perfect decorated with a nice bathroom and kitchen. For the cold night there was an Aircon and a wall mounted heater. The property is well maintained with a pool and bouma. Will definitely recommend the lodge.
