We booked this boutique hotel based largely on online photos and were not dissapointed. The new build has been designed architechually to be more than a hotel - it is a statement in art and design. No expense has been spared to make every detail aesthectically perfect from the volvanic lava rock place mats to the stone/ceramic waste paper bins. The rooms have high ceilings and most walls and cupboards throughout the hotel are finished in a light, possibly ash, wood. Our king sized bed was most comfortable and the enormous rain shower most refreshing. The staff prepared for us, a delicious dinner of charcuterie, pasta and tiramasu. The continetal breakfast was taken at a communal table from a selection of quaity produce. We very much enjoyed our stay and wished we had longer.

We stayed here for one night after a long hike to Etna, and it feels like we landed in a small spot in heaven on a day where we needed it the most. It is, without exaggeration, the best hotel we have ever stayed in in Italy. Overtly friendly staff, exceptionally well-designed interior with a lovely scandinavian/japanese feel, and a well equipped and fresh breakfast. The hotel has a restaurant next door where we had fantastic pizza. I would go back here anytime.

We only stayed here as we were doing Etna parkrun (the hotel is about 2 miles from the start) but I am so glad we did! The hotel is beautiful, modern, tasteful and calm. Our room had everything we needed including great aircon, a comfortable bed and a stylish spacious semi-open plan bathroom with a huge shower. Our room was very quiet despite the hotel being on a through road. Breakfast was very tasty and included fresh fruits, cold cuts and Sicilian cakes, and is served family-style at the kitchen table or on the small balcony. We also loved the buzzy pizza restaurant next door - portions were huge, pizzas were yummy, prices were reasonable and service was excellent. Hotel has a private parking lot directly opposite the front of the hotel. Note that all rooms are up one or two flights of stairs and there is no lift so it may not be the best choice for the less sprightly. But then you wouldn't be planning to do parkrun, would you?

An absolutely amazing stay at Criu Hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff who was always there when we needed help or advise. The director of the hotel is very professional, made sure that everything was perfect. Our room was stunning and extremely clean, and breakfast was super fresh and delicious. The chef always welcomed us and treated us with freshly baked cakes and sweets, as well as omelettes with our favourite toppings. Very impressed! Highly recommend ⭐️

We really enjoyed our stay in the Manna suite and want to thank Bruno for this excellent experience he created! We would recommend booking the suite as there is a nice bathtub for the winter. Perfect for after hiking on Etna.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’hôtel CRIU BOUTIQUE à Nicolosi où nous avons séjourné 4 nuits : -hôtel au pied de l’Etna idéalement placé - hôtel intime avec 8 chambres uniquement - décoration et qualité des matériaux, les architectes ont associés différentes textures, décoration originale, bois, carrelages, qualité de la literie - qualité du petit déjeuner avec une cuisinière présente en permanence - restaurant adossé à l’hôtel : qualité et quantité impressionnante dans les assiettes : pizzas, salades, viandes… et très bon produits locaux et prix bas BÉMOL: Ce que nous n’avons pas aimé du tout : 1) HÔTEL CRIU à Nicolosi : - nous avons quitté l’hôtel en oubliant ma veste de marque Ollygan dans la penderie de la chambre : le responsable du site nous dit avoir trouvé aucune veste, ce qui pour moi s’apparente à du vol - le responsable du site nous a demandé de payer la taxes de séjour en liquide soit 5€/jours et en liquide, donc au total 40€, est-ce légal

Hotel incantevole, frutto di una attenta e curatissima ristrutturazione. Il design delle camere e degli spazi comuni è curato in ogni dettaglio con materiali e arredi di pregio, senza mai rinunciare al confort e alla praticità che un albergo deve garantire. Il personale gentilissimo e professionale, sempre a completa disposizione degli ospiti. La colazione è curata sia nella forma che nella qualità dei prodotti. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è strepitoso. BRAVI!!!
