To my 300,000 readers on TripAdvisor. We recently visited your property. Your remodel project is looking very nice, so thank you for the investment. We stay there at least once annually to visit family. The reception crew were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff did a great job keeping the food stocked and fresh. The rooms and bed were very comfortable. I do have an issue, however. On Monday, 7 August, we departed our room for the day at 10am. The DND sign was not on the door. When we returned at 4:30pm, our room was not cleaned, nor towels replaced. Our room was literally 4 steps from the housekeeping room (across the hall). As we paid for your full service that day, but didn’t receive it…an overpayment then. Amy, from the property tells me that if your DND sign is not removed by 8:30, you must call and ask for daily service. This wasn’t the case for the 3 previous days. I’ve travelled 4 nights weekly, while working and continue about 50 nights annually in retirement. Literally 1000’s of nights. I’ve never heard this excuse before. Take responsibility and be honest. That, I could understand.
