Excellent B&B, town centre location but with free parking. Great rooms, clean and well furnished. Thick duvets and bath towels. Great breakfast - even with the option of smoked or unsmoked bacon! Friendly host offering local food and drink tips. Will definitely be back!

What can I say? This was a beautiful place to stay. The room we were allocated was stunning and furnishings looked brand new and very classy. I’m aware that our host Tina had a difficult weekend but despite that, she was kind, friendly and lovely to talk to. Thank you so much. The direction were spot on, and the location is fabulous for the pubs and eateries in Newtown. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back here.

Had a fantastic stay here - room very comfortable, well-appointed and spotlessly clean. Bed comfy, shower works well, and the AC unit they provide kept the room nice and cool. Breakfast was delicious - perfect poached eggs! Whilst the hotel does offer a couple of parking spaces, I found it easier to park on The Gravel public car park, just a couple of minutes’ walk away. Plenty of spaces, and free between 6pm and 8am. As other reviews have mentioned, Newtown can get a bit lively of an evening, especially on a Friday night - would therefore recommend bringing some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Totally not the hotel’s fault - just the nature of where they’re located. Thank you Parker’s - would happily stay here again!

What a delightful B&B - nothing was too much trouble! The rooms are lovely and it has everything one requires for a great stay! The breakfast was DELICIOUS and caters for vegetarians and vegans… but also us meat eaters! The B&Bis not for those who struggle getting up and down stairs … that’s NOT the owners fault but properties of this type and age have steep staircases! There is free parking literally a stones throw away… A word of warning - Newtown is very busy at night and people are out enjoying themselves and of course when alcohol is involved, it can get rather noisy outside but again the owners have tried their best to try and keep the noise to a minimum with double glazing and heavy curtains but it’s worth taking some earplugs or just have an extra glass of wine yourself … I can’t fault the property or the service! And the air conditioning unit was a godsend on what was the hottest night of the year so far! Thank you to all at Parkers 👍

Beautiful B&B with stunning rooms. My husband is staying there due to working nearby. I visited for the weekend. Loved the place, the staff couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. The breakfast choice is excellent. Had full English the first morning, I couldn't finish it. The next morning eggs benedict. I would love to visit again if I'm ever back in the area. It can be lively outside as there are pubs nearby. But it's a town centre so you can expect to hear noise. I was surprised how quiet it was once in our room. The bed was so comfy, I struggled to wake in the morning. There was so much attention to detail in the room. 5*

The rooms are decorated to a very high standard. We stayed in Room 1, which has a lovely spacious en-suite with a big shower. The shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were all lovely products. The water was always a good temperature, and so was the bedroom, as we could open a window or use the heater as we liked. It was so nice to have the window seat in the room overlooking the town, and the bed was extremely comfortable, we slept very well every night we were there. The breakfasts were great each morning, and the staff we’re always very friendly and helpful at breakfast, and via text message and email. The B&B has a self check in and check out system, and the staff were very good at explained how it all worked to me on my first visit. It was good to be able to access the breakfast room at any time, as we didn’t want to eat in the room. It was nice for us to be able to quietly come and go as we liked, and the central location was perfect for us as we don’t drive (easy to access from town, the bus station and train station, and plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants near by). We will definitely be staying here again when we visit family in the future. Thank you!
