The hotel was well furnished and room comfy, food ok and breakfast to a good standard. I didn’t enjoy the vocal and intimidating staff training whilst trying to eat my evening meal. Not a relaxed environment. The staff perform like they are acting out a script and not natural.

Pleasant friendly staff from check in through to check out. Dinner was delicious. Great menu with good choice of starters, mains and desserts. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent too with a choice of continental and cooked. Definitely worth a stay in this lovely part of the country.

What a great Hotel. Stayed for 2 nights with our 1 y/o granddaughter and had a relaxing stay. The room was superb with comfy beds and they even set up the cot with bright and colourful blankets for the wee one. Food was amazing especially the breakfasts.The staff were friendly and helpful to every request we had. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to everyone. Thanks

I stayed here with my wife and two friends after completing the Speyside Way. I can't praise the staff enough for making our brief stay memorable. We enjoyed a bit of banter with the locals over a couple of drinks from the well stocked bar on arrival. Dinner was excellent, the selection of desserts being a particular plus point for our group. We'd enquired about watching Scotland v Germany which they were able to accommodate. Also, although the bar closed about 10pm, the staff let us use the dining room (complete with heater) for our nightly game of dominoes. The rooms were all comfy, clean and well appointed. The shower was warm and powerful - not always the case in rural locations. Breakfast was very tasty with a good selection of continental and cooked options. Finally, our host informed us that we could get an earlier train home from Kingussie, and he was able to drop us off at the station as he was headed that way. This saved us about 3 hours of time, waiting around. Service above and beyond! Highly recommended.

Cycling through and had one night at the Glen Hotel. The people I spoke with before and during our stay were all very friendly and professional. The room and facilities were clean, warm and welcoming. The food was excellent. I’d absolutely return if in the area.

Another fab stay at The Glen Hotel. We always book here when visiting the nearby Highland Wildlife Park. A warm welcome from the amazing team, rooms are always clean and comfortable, loads of fluffy towels, Breakfast is amazing, selection of pastries,cereals,yoghurts, fresh juices..then on to a freshly cooked hot breakfast to set you up for the day. As its the pub, dinner is always a winner as well, using locally sourced produce (haggis, black pudding etc) great selection of whisky and beers

A very well presented hotel and bar. The room(room3) was very comfortable,cleaned very well,bathroom was gorgeous. All facilities were excellent. Our evening meal in the bar was well presented and tasted good. Service excellent and made to feel welcomed. Breakfast was one of the nicest we have had. Very tasty. Highly recommend to anyone staying this way. Just a few miles outside Aveimore,and the village and views are beautiful

The restaurant we had planned for dinner was fully booked so we decided to give the Glen hotel restaurant a try. The universe unfolded as it should and we have a great pub dinner (one of the best hamburgers I have ever had) with great beer and a very friendly service. And we were able to get back to our B&B (Clune house) on foot!

We didnt stay here but we were staying in the village and went to the hotel to eat. Greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable chap behind the bar. Selection of beers were excellent and the food was fab. Big portions and very fresh and tasty
