Lovely lodge with a rustic vibe but all of the modern conveniences with charm! We had a lovely 2nd floor spacious room and bathroom that included a balcony. Great nature viewing location and outdoor activities. A frequent stop Of the areas wild horses. Will definitely go again!

We stayed in our 5th Wheel RV at Timbuktu and went to the lodge for dinner. I loved it because we were there on Friday and they had a Fish Dinner Special, complete with fries and hush puppies. My wife and I both got it and there was so much we took some back to the camper and I had fish for two more meals. The lodge is a great place to eat.

Echo Bluff state park is a nicely run destination lodge on the Current river. I highly recommend staying here for going floating. They have a great biscuits n gravy in the morning for only $10. Everything was in excellent condition throughout the lodge.

We stayed one night in July 2024. We loved this hotel for a number of reasons and it was perfect for children and adults. Excellent service! They went out of their way to let us know we could check in early and welcomed us warmly. Amazing location, beautiful hotel, gorgeous scenery.

We stayed in the Lodge. Our room was large, comfortable, and had a great view out the window. The food in the restaurant was delicious. We didn't see any of the wild horses, but on a walk in the morning I saw the evidence, road apples and hoof prints, that they left overnight.

Our room faced the bluff/river but was a bit far from it. Still an easy walk down and one could kayak or canoe right from the lodge. We did have a small balcony and the room was beautifully furnished. There is a lovely deck off the bar (generously poured drinks) with comfortable seating. We highly recommend this location. Great outdoor space with huge firepit and mostly quiet.

We spent three nights at Betty Lea Lodge at Echo Bluff State Park and loved it. The lodge has a rustic appearance, but everything is very modern and clean. The floor to ceiling fireplace is quite a centerpiece in the Great Room. We had two meals in the restaurant and the meals and desserts were great, and the Mercantile came in handy for snacks, drinks and gifts. We spent a lot of time on the back deck overlooking the bluffs and Current River and took several walks on the paths surrounding the lodge. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to return some time.

We had a reservation for June 7 and check out on June 10. We had a situation arise and had to cancel. I called 5 days prior to the check in date. I understood the 7 day cancellation policy however as a disabled veteran things happen. Ruth would not accommodate only to reiterate the 7 day policy. With as full as the place generally stays they would have had no problem filling the reservation with someone else. So I’m turn I lost $189.00. Poor customer service and in good conscience cannot recommend this establishment due to the fact they put the influx of money before people. Save your money and stay in West Plains.

We stayed in the lodge, and it is beautiful. Our room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom was large. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The gift shop is a destination of it's own. The setting near the bluffs with the creek running through the property is an inspiration to investigate the rest of the area or enjoy the evening around the fire pit. It is remote, but well managed, and there are few places like that left today.
