Travelodge Newquay Seafront

Room was an inside room looking over an unkempt courtyard full of weeds, room was too warm with only a desk top fan to cool the room, the first day we were met by an Italian receptionist who was extremely friendly and helpful but on the other days when we had issues with the room the reception had a sign that just stated ‘back in 5 minutes’. The issues were, the tea & coffee were never replenished, the towels were never changed even though we left the sign on the door requesting them to be, the room was only cleaned on our last day, the bins were not emptied until then and then the bin was left on the armchair, general bad house keeping for the money paid !

We really enjoyed our stay at the Newquay travelodge, the hotel was clean and tidy, andour room had great sea views, all the staff from the breakfast bar to the reception, were very welcoming and professional. We were able to visit several places of interest, including Truro christmas market, Our planned 4 day break had to be extended to 5 however, due to the arrival of storm Darragh, which literally blew us away and made it impossible to drive home safely. Looking forward to staying again next year. Bob & Glynis Shepherd.

Definitely room for improvement but overall a pleasant stay and idea location for purpose of stay and handy shops nearby.

Good price for room. Comfy beds, has everything you need. Good location near town and on sea front. Quiet hotel, would stay again.

Excellent service and good quality room with excellent sea views. Breakfast was hot and plentiful and drinks reasonably priced.

Great location, usual standard. With suggested local car park full, managed to find on street parking some 7/8 mins walk away.
