Nice location just opposite St James Park and in the centre of the city. Room is comfotable. Recommend.

The staff at the hotel was very friendly. As we booked quite close to our actual trip date we didn't get a great room. Our room was at the end of the hallway next to the staff elevator. unfortunately, the door to that elevator was open half the time we were there with food scraps waiting to be taken away out in the open area. This led to "food smells" being wafted into our room. we had to open the window the moment we entered our room because of the stuffy smell but once the window was open and there was ventilation, everything was fine.

Great location lovely king suite and price.the gym was abit feeble with not much working however the hotel room and sofa bed made up for it.best hotel across road to st James Park

The location was great, nothing to complain. But the service was really, really terrible. There was no shampoo in my room and I talked to the counter staff, but he just kept chatting with his colleague! After 1 minute, he finally said “I will get you some.” I thought it was fine, but I realized he didn’t ask me for my room number. So I just told him “don’t you want to know my room number?” He said “okay, what’s the number?” I felt 100% disrespect he gave me, and of course, I got nothing through the whole travel. Apparently, he didn’t want to fulfill his job and he cared nothing. That’s too bad

Good experience at Sandman Newcastle, location is perfect which is just above the Metro station St James, easy to go around the city, also in a walking distance to the monument easy access to shopping area and many restaurants, staff members are friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant and supermarket in the neighbourhood. The room even equipped with oven and fridge . Recommended strongly

The hotel is located in the center of the city but the service is very poor. On several days the room did not get serviced in spite of making a request. This was not a rare missing out- it was the case on many days. The lift usually had tea/ coffee all over and too was not cleaned for days…

The location is great and the service is friendly. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Great hotel, great customer service and they upgraded me to a suite with a kitchen due to a delay with my booking on their system.

Lovely stay here at sandman hotel. Room very clean and modern view from our room of the newcastle stadium made it even better would deffinalty come here again.

房間很好，門很厚重，不會因為隔壁開關門就有聲音。據説建造於上個世紀，沒有空調，但是有暖氣。暖氣分三個檔，還好，感覺被子有點薄。
