Very professional staff friendly willing to assist all the time, nice quite area able to do my work in peace and relax. Amazing dishes they serve from breakfast, lunch and dinner.it It the only guest house I use in Newcastle .

We booked two rooms for two days at New Haven Guest House. Staff was very friendly. Location is good not too far from a shopping center. Pool on complex. Good size room with shower. Small fridge and microwave. Breakfast was simple, nothing special. Tip to hotel - you need to establish dietary preferences ahead of time and cater daily for non pork eaters, more healthy options and fruit - hence the average rating

I stayed on a work few work trips at New Haven and it is a fantastic place. The rooms are spacious, have airconditioning, fridges, microwaves and the bathrooms are modern and have a luxurious feel to them. This is everything that a weary traveller needs. The breakfasts are lovely with full english on offer, tea, coffee, cereal and fruits. Security is always important to me and it is in a good area with access control and night security casting a watchful eye on the vehichles and gate. They have a resturant and bar on the premises but if you dont feel like eating at the guest house there is a lovely mall less than a kilometer away with a Spur, Checkers, Woolies and various other take-away options. Beautifully appointed rooms.Nothing is ever to much trouble for Christo. Friendly, welcoming staff. Conbeient location to Newcastle shops. Beatiful restaurant wiyh lovley tranquil gardens. Good quality linen.

On one of the coldest nights I've experienced in Newcastle, New Haven was warm and inviting. The room was very well appointed and the breakfast was amazing. Thank you to all the staff and host's for making it a memorable stay. I will be back.

In my view I enjoyed the stay, however I didn't appreciate the fact that on my arrival around 7:00 pm I couldn't have my dinner due to miscommunication/ lack of information received from security guard who had my key to the room. Good breakfast thank you kindly.

I was pleasantly surprised, even when arriving late, I was welcomed by name at the gate. The unit was neat and cozy, not to mention the free wi-fi available. It is evident that the owner has poured his passion into this place, as there was no shortage of anything, not even Eskom could spoil my stay, as a huge (quiet) generator was keeping power going. After a good night's rest, I was treated with a healthy breakfast served by yours truly. I will most definitely recommend this guest house to any person. If it's tranquility and privacy you're after, this is the place for you.

The New Haven was heaven to say in. The service was super wonderful, to be welcomed by a person who shares the same clan name as my sister and I was so exciting and so spiritual especially with the trip being an emotional one. Everything about this place was just so beautiful. If I ever need a place to stay again, I will definitely come here.
