Located next to Winchester Cathedral and close to High street, the hotel is quiet and comfortable.

Family short trip, was well worth it. - Great hotel for a budget family trip. - room clean and big enough for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) - Sumptuous breakfast. - Hotel is within its own secure compound. - Close proximity to Oxford, Reading and Newbury - with lots of fun activities for families. - Above all for us, the people make this hotel great. Special thanks to Jane and the team for doing their best to deliver great hospitality. I like the great team work too, every one supporting each other. Downside: - Room was too cold for us even after turning off the A/C. We should have known that it is centrally controlled. So worth noting for future guests. - Kids £1 meal could be better or just taken off the menus. The adult dinner was excellent, for us. kids are better off ordering from the adult menu. Overall, I will certainly comeback to this hotel.

I took my children for breakfast last Sunday. It was very busy and i was surprised to see only one chef cooking for so many guests. Chef Carlos was surreal! Not only was the hot food delicious and the plates always full, but he even took the time to attend tables and deliver special requests. All while making the guests laugh by cracking a joke. What a splendid member of staff that is clear the heart of that restaurant! please pass him our appraisal.

We have stay here twice and in the morning breakfast is fantastic and the staff are one in a million if you need anything they will help you food is fantastic and staff are Carlos ,Paula,Sue,Michelle all one in a million Thank you so much For your help Nicky & Nick 4th October till 5 October xx😁👍👍👍

Much improved since our last visit. Staff seemed a lot happier and not as under pressure as before. Food much better quality. Chef even came round yo check on all the guests to make sure the food was OK. Rooms lovely and comfortable and clean. 🙂

Lovley comfortable place to stay with great parking staff very nice and helpfull if you need anything kay very good and looks after the working lads nice food in evenings and a good breakfast every thing you need is in walking distance all around you is a shoping centre near and a tesco nice place to stay rooms are very clean tidy to make a comfortable stay

table bookings dont mean the table will be ready expect to wait longer or eat in the bar.dont expect to get all the items you order but expect to pay the full price.do expect your drinks order to arrive quickly or be correct when it does eventually arrive

The hotel appearance on approach was very nice. Parking was easy and didn’t have to pay for this just input your number plate details on entry to hotel. The room was ideal for the one night we needed. The bed was so comfortable, mattress and pillows so much so I’m thinking of buying one of the mattresses ( The details to be able to do this is provided in the room) We had a poor experience in the restaurant for evening meal. Poor service, had to wait quite a long time to order then wait a long time for meal. Dessert didn’t arrive at all. Having said that everything else was good. It was good value for money. Would stay again.

Problem with room. Booked a twin room and got a family room with a double and child's bed so had to both sleep in the double bed. Duvet was too hot, pillows like rocks so had a terrible night. Bathroom had a shower over the bath despite asking for a walk min shower, As my wife has had a knee operation and the side of the bath was so high, she had to forego a shower in the morning. However, the room was clean, the food reasonable and the service was fairly good. Hotel was difficult to find as it is in the middle of a trading estate and the signs ran out before reaching the hotel, satnav did not recognise the address.
