Barley Mow

Just got back after stopping 1 night in our motorhome and having a sunday roast meal.Spoke to a lovely lady to book our place and found a nice spot in the corner of the car park. Then did a pleasant 35 minute walk in to rugby town centre.Noticed there is a few shops only 5 minutes away if you are in need of anything.We have now done over 40 pub stop overs in our motorhome and we both agreed this has to be the best one for quality of food,service and price! We will be back again for sure.

The Barley Mo is a fantastic pub with exceptional service and outstanding staff. We were made really welcome as usual and had Sunday Lunch which was really tasty and they even put on roast pork which we had requested when we booked the table. Lovely smoking area out the back with a lawn and children's play area. All in all our favourite pub for a Sunday meal outing.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Barley Mow, over the weekend with family, and cannot rate it highly enough. The staff were lovely throughout our visit, the food was delicious and the rooms clean and comfortable. I would recommend the Barley Mow to anyone and will be back when visiting family again.

Just home from a lovely afternoon at the Barley Mow. The food was very good, plenty of it and very very reasonably priced. The customer care though was outstanding and couldn’t be faulted. It was busy but considering we had two wheel chair users in our party and one with extra needs the staff couldn’t have done more to make our visit memorable. Thanks to lovely Terry for looking after us and the marvellous kitchen staff and landlord.

Fantastic food and drinks and the service was exceptional nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Overall a great experience. We went for Sunday Lunch and we will definitely be going back again. There was a place for smoking at the back with plenty of tables and even water available for visiting dogs.

We stayed in our motorhome at the barley mow, we did not arrive until after the kitchen had closed, so we stayed in the pub and had a few pints then Richard the manager was very very helpful, in fact he went out of his way to help us, as the kitchen was closed he ordered a Chinese takeaway for us. The food was fine. I read a review just recently, it was saying that Richard the manager was rude well we did not find him rude in fact exactly the opposite. The pub its self could do with a good spring clean, but Richard made up for that with his pleasant attitude.
