Hilton New York Times Square

Good location. Room is spacious. Called housekeeping multiple times to ask for toothbrushes but no one picked up, so I went down to the reception to ask nicely. Ended up the receptionist just rolled her eyes while passing me the toothbrushes. Secondly, At 9am, I saw housekeeping doing their rounds, a couple of rooms further from my room so I placed the privacy door hanger outside my door knob so as to inform housekeeping I don’t need their service, end up they just open my door and came in. It’s so annoying! What’s the point of me putting the privacy hanger at the door knob then? Ugh!

Good location in Time squares. There is no breakfast. The room is OK. Only stay for location

Very convenient location, 3 minutes of walk to NY port authority bus station. Nice and big room Gym is more than good

The hotel refused to give us the room we booked as they said they were sold out. They said being a hilton honors member does not guarantee you get the room you booked even though it was a direct booking of that room type. They refused any upgrade on check in and only offered a downgrade with no discount. The room was fine but the bed was small for us and we could have booked this bed type anywhere so if you need a king you will most likely not get it here. We stayed on a thursday when the crowds were down. The view from the 31st floor was very nice as you can see in the photo. Unfortunately they would not let me see a manager which is a shock since this is a Hilton and we have no choice except to lose our money or take the room. Surprised from a quality hotel chain to see this treatment.

Taxes was not explained while checking in we got charged 160 dollar addtional and we were offered room on the first floor we couldn’t sleep because of the construction sound

I feel comfortable with the room . I love this hotel🥰

Right smack in the middle of Times Square.

Not the best hotel I should say. No drinking water provided nor toothbrush/toothpaste. The credit of $35 charge is also weird arrangement. It is like stating a lower price and subsequently adds up to a much higher total.

BACKGROUND: I am staying a Hilton Times Square, dealing with an employee Naquan. We have in aggregate booked 3 nights with two separate bookings. On the third day of our reservation, we arrived at the counter at 8:30am and asked for a new hotel room key, we were given to understand that we have to come back to the counter after noon to get a new key. When we arrived at 6pm on the same day. The employee, Naquan (assumed as the Manager) told us that the Third Party has not complete the payment to Hilton and we as guests are (1) liable for the payment even though we already paid Ctrip; and (2) we cannot check out the first two nights hence we cannot check in to the third night. We spent 1hr+ dealing with this matter and Naquan refuse to give us a key card to enter our room when the first and second booking are separate. 1. As guests, why would you tell me that I am liable for a payment if a third party does not pay your hotel? 2. Why would Naquan not allow us into our room if Ctrip (OTA) does not settle the payment in time? 3. Naquan demanded me to contact Ctrip (OTA) to have them make payment immediately to Hilton. Why do I have to do Naquan’s job for him? (I did it anyway) 4. Why can’t we check into our room under the second reservation which was separate from the first? When we reached out to c trip to confirm the third party payment (which should be Naquan’s job， it was resolved within 15 minutes). Our cooperation was met with hostility.
