Little Manhattan Lodge

We really enjoyed our stay at Little Manhattan Lodge. We booked the Garden King room (#1A) . We ended up having the whole lower level of the house to ourselves. It was nice because we had our own private entrance from the street.! We were able to go into the main house as well to use the kitchen and to store items in the refrigerator. We were also allowed to use the washer and dryer in the basement, although we didn't. I would give this property five stars but may downgrade to four stars due to the following: 1) The Wi-Fi was not very good on the bottom level... not sure how it was in the main building. 2) The beds were super firm, and the pillows were a little flat but we still slept well( probably due to exhaustion). 3) We really would have liked to have a TV in the room just to have some quiet noise to unwind after our busy day. There are no televisions in the rooms. We ended up streaming a few shows on our tablets (using our own mobile hotspot). Overall, the location was fantastic, and we would definitely book again! We stayed at Little Manhattan Lodge and it was the perfect location for a stay in NY! Sam was extremely helpful, available for and at any request, he made us feel very comfortable with our stay. We stayed in the ground floor room which we liked because it was like our own place separated from the rest of the home, the room was very large, we had enough space to move about, an extra bed, the bathroom was very large, water was very hot, water pressure excellent, body wash, shampoo, lotion provided to all guests. We did have to go upstairs to the common area for the kitchen which we didn’t mind at all and we got to interact with some of the other guests. The home is very modern, well equipped and he supplies some useful breakfast items to get started with your stay. The location is very safe, some road noise from the road but it didn’t affect our sleep or stay in any way at all. Our last night we got to stay in 3A room which was up on the 3rd floor but not to bad on the knees, honestly 3A felt like we were staying in a room in Paris, the bed was heaven. We look forward to visiting NY again soon and hope to stay with Sam again at Little Manhattan Lodge.

The place is super clean, has a convenient location, excellent communication with the host, I will go back to this place. Great amenities. We had a great time. The neighborhood was safe to walk at night
