We stayed 2 nights over Memorial weekend. It is truly a beautiful place. Grounds are lovely. The decor beautiful and very Great Gatsby. And the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Our only negative is we wished there was a TV. And I do think it should be noted when you book that there isn’t one in any room. As a wedding venue you don’t need it. But for other bookings you do

This was a real Florida gem. My wife and had the pleasure of staying two nights. What beautiful home. The rooms are spectacular, wonderful views, great neighborhood to walk, especially if you appreciate beautiful Victorian homes each as stunning as the next. A couple really cool things about this property. It’s far more than a typical B&B, sitting on an acre and a half with gorgeous mature oak trees. They host full weddings, from a spot to say “I do” to having a major celebration ceremony and even an area for catering and area for a tent for a full on feast with your family and friends. Chef Mark was another huge highlight. Each morning he made us an unforgettable breakfast including special a baked treat, and unforgettable omelets. He even took on a special request from my wife for Greek themed breakfast the second day. He nailed it both mornings! There is another really cool feature on this properly that you have to see but I’m not going rat it out 😊 you’ll know what I mean when you see it. Bottom line we loved it and would not only recommend it, but plan to return ourselves.

When planning a trip I look for smaller, boutique properties to stay. We had been traveling to various places in Florida and wanted to end our trip in a quiet beach town without staying in the typical beachfront/bustling areas. From the moment we entered the property I knew I had made the perfect choice. The impeccable grounds are a mix of old oak trees, water features and beautiful flowers/plants. We stayed in the Eliza which was a large suite style room beautifully decorated in a modern style with comfortable beds, higher end linens, towels and bath products. The room was on the 2nd floor with a porch overlooking the river. We spent mornings watching the sun rise with our coffee/tea and evenings with a glass of wine. The living room and dining spaces were just as tastefully designed. Little touches like the fresh flowers and beverage/snack bar were nice. Now to the people who make this place special..Fabiola, the owner, was very busy but made a point to respond to any questions quickly and visit with us during breakfast with their beautiful daughter. Mark provided the most amazing gourmet breakfast each day complete with fresh fruits, pastries and coffee/tea/juice options. Sonda was very helpful by providing suggestions for places to visit or eat. Make sure to visit the fun Speakeasy on the property. I only write reviews for exceptional places and employees—Victoria 1883 was both. We will return.
