We totally enjoyed our stay here . The rooms are well appointed and clean. We ended up coming back for another night . Having a base for walking around Mt Taranaki The owners are fantastic and very knowledgeable about their local area. Would love to come back and stay again

Everything we needed for our first sleep after flying in from uk and driving from Auckland. Clean comfy bed, great shower friendly owner. It is situated close to the road which meant it wasn’t perfectly silent but we were so tired that it didn’t matter!

Its in a really good position for getting into town on foot. Rooms are clean and bright and really quiet when you look at how close it is to a busy road. Comfortable bed and all the amenities you need to do breakfast and other meals. BBQ area as well, a treat.

This is the second time at the Taranaki Festival and we are pleased we returned to this motel. As far as motels go it's about as good as it gets. Perfect tly located. Despite being g on a main route the units are very quiet. The units are modern, clean and airy. Curtains enable making it very dark. Staff are very helpful. It probably ly the most comfortable bed we have slept in. If returning to New Plymouth it would be our first choice.

My wife and I had planned on staying 3 nights, but enjoyed it so much, we extended our stay for an additional 4th night. We have attached pictures of our accommodations as sometimes the Motel pictures do not match the actual pictures. One will see they are identical. We highly recommend Lockwood Manor Hotel. Thank you Kelly-Anne and David.

This is a truly great place to stay. We had a minor problem in that coming from Opanake Google maps tried to complicate thing. After that, and advicd from propieter its a piece of cake. We had a 1 room studio unit. It was large, airy, spotlessly clean and absolutely no traffic noisd. Very comfortably furnished, i think the beds were quite nes. Well equipped kitchen and one of the better showers aroud. We werd therd for the garden festerval and travelled out each day. The unit was central and easy to find once the props had explained. Couple of minute to a choicd of supermarkes and town less than 10 minutd. We absolutely reccomend this placd

Lovely clean, wee equiped units. Comfortable beds and everything you need. Good location close to everything. We also made use of the free bikes. Very friendly hosts and staff. Great relaxed atmosphere and service

We stayed at the Lockwood Manor for 8 weeks whilst our house was being renovated following a flooding. From the first moment that Kelly-Anne and David knew of the circumstances of our stay, they went out of their way to ensure of stay was as stress-free as possible. Kelly-Anne and David both have real natural 'hospitality' personalities and this is replicated by their staff. Great location, great service, would highly recommend *****
