Rose Manor Bed & Breakfast

Very cute Bed & Breakfast, it reminded us of the ones we stayed at in England. The couple that owns the Bed & Breakfast are super friendly and so nice. The room was comfortable and quiet. It’s in a good location and I would definitely recommend!

Rose Manor is a very comfortable, homely place and the hosts, Ruby and Peter, are wonderful people who help you whenever they can. The breakfast is tasty and abundant, and it is fun to sit on the porch, talking to Peter. I highly recommend staying there! Thank you very much for allowing us to stay with you, Ruby and Peter!

This was an amazing stay with amazing hosts, Peter and Ruby! They were so kind and willing to help with anything we needed. It’s about 15 minutes from the French Quarter, which I appreciated because it got us out of that busy area. The neighborhood it’s in is very quiet with great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!

My wife booked our stay here the week of Halloween 2020 and I am so glad she did. The owners, Peter and Ruby, were friendly, knew a lot about current events, and even gave us tips on using public transport in the area. The mornings usually consisted of having breakfast with the other guests and Peter, the owner. The interior of the manor consists of charming furniture and fixtures gathered from multiple cultures as the owners are travelers themselves and have accrued an eclectic mixture of ornaments and photos. It's a few miles from the French Quarter and Central Business district of NOLA. We used public transportation to go from the manor to the quarter as there is bus stop within eye site of the manor's parking lot. This saved a ton of headache trying to navigate an unfamiliar city, find safe parking, and then pay for it. I didn't take many pictures of the interior as I am sure you can find plenty of those online. Just book this place and save yourself some agonizing over where to stay.

Ruby and Peter are great hosts. The accomodations were superb. Peter suggested some of the lesser known attractions that are free and they were the best times we had. Highly recommend!! Fine dining within walking.

We had a wonderful stay at Rose Manor. Beautiful room, spacious, quiet and excellent AC, very comfortable bed, we slept well. Delicious breakfast offerings, homemade pastries, fresh fruit, real bagels and real cream cheese, strong coffee, nice outdoors shaded patio. Great location near Lake Pontchartrain. Great restaurants in walking distance, peaceful neighborhood, close to City Park. The nicest owner operators Ruby & Peter. We’ll be back!
