Godt hotel med gode faciliteter. Restauranten lidt dyr i forhold til udvalg og kvalitet. Personalet er høfligt, men har ikke altid styr på tingene. Bestilte rengøring til værelset 2 gange uden at det kom, der var ikke tandbørste og tandpasta ved ankomst, servicepersonalet sagde *** godt kunne få mad ved poolen men restauranten sagde *** ikke kunne, massagebookning blev udskudt 2 timer.

This booking marked the beginning of a trip that we had been planning for a long time and for which we saved a significant amount of money. Unfortunately, our experience at your hotel has soured our overall experience of India. We paid a premium rate in expectation of an appropriate standard of comfort, cleanliness, and service, but the reality fell well below what would reasonably be expected. Firstly, the room key system was not functioning. We were informed that this issue affected multiple rooms and, based on publicly available reviews, appears to have been an ongoing problem. Each time we left the room and returned, we were required to wait between five and ten minutes for a staff member to escort us and unlock the door. In addition to the inconvenience, staff repeatedly failed to verify our identity before granting access, which represents a significant security risk. The disruption was so frequent that we chose to check out early on our final day rather than continue dealing with the issue. Secondly, the Wi-Fi service did not function at any point during our stay. As a result, the television services were also unavailable. This further reduced the comfort and value of the stay. Thirdly, upon arrival on 6th February after a delayed flight and a lengthy immigration process. We attempted to have breakfast and were abruptly told there was “no room” in the main dining area and directed to an alternative room. The manner in which this was communicated was discourteous, and the alternative breakfast offering was notably more limited in both quality and selection. In addition, the condition of the room itself was unsatisfactory. The shower was not properly cleaned, several doors had visible stains, and both the fridge and kettle were in an unhygienic state. This level of cleanliness is not acceptable for guest accommodation. Finally, complimentary bottled water was provided only once during the entire stay. We were required to argue with breakfast staff to obtain an additional bottle so that both my wife and I could take our medication. This should not have been necessary. We did give the hotel an opportunity for a rigt to reply and to put all this right before posting this review. They have not even bothered to respond to my email.

Room card key must be validated every day. The money exchange rate was very bad. Housekeeping did not replenish clean bath towels and bottled water. very expensive too.

I'm sure this hotel was beautiful back in its heyday, but clearly has not been renovated in decades. I would NOT stay here again. Top complaint: WiFi did not work the 3 days/nights that I stayed at the hotel and the staff was completely unhelpful in resolving this issue. This is *unacceptable* for business travelers and was a huge inconvenience. Medium complaint: The gym is far too small for a hotel with hundreds of guests. There was also only one yoga mat which had to be shared amongst many sweaty exercisers. Minor complaints: The rooms smell strange, the room decor is quite old-fashioned, and the bars of soap are very poor quality (and fluorescent green). Positives: The outdoor garden is lovely and the freshly made masala dosas at breakfast were tasty.

1. The amount paid for the room is not appropriate for the price paid. 2. The cleanliness of the room is not as clean as it should be. The chair covers are very old and torn. 3. The refrigerator is not cold and is very old. 4. The safe cannot be locked because the battery in the safe does not have a battery. 5. When delivering the room to the customer, the staff should check the cleanliness, completeness of the appliances such as the refrigerator, safe, and bedroom to see if they are ready for use. The room is quite old and not worth the price paid at 3,600 baht per night.

The hotel is a decent property located at a prime location in New Delhi. The rooms are a tad bit small and look a little dated. The house keeping team does a fantastic job of cleaning up each day and it feels good to be back to a well made bed and clean room after a long work day. The key cards seem to be a recurring issue with them needing repeated activation. Breakfast spread is decent and not much to brag about. In room dining is pretty expensive and is quite a deterrent. But the location helps to overlook a lot of the minor inconveniences.

Me and my wife stayed at The Royal Plaza 3 weeks back. The entire staff was extremely humble, polite and co-operative to all our requests. A big thank you to Prithvi Raj Singh who personally took care of our comforts and within the restaurant crew, a big thank you to Navpreet. Great team pampered us with excellent food.
