Comfort Suites

Nice place, friendly staff and reasonable price. For some reason this hotel has several rooms that management knows smell bad but they are still placing guests in those rooms (and not fixing the problem). We stayed for a few nights and I had read reviews on the smelly rooms but then experienced it first hand, the smell is offensive. The big issue I have is that the front desk person assigned us a stinky room knowing it was stinky, so that is why I am dropping the score to Poor. Also, just fix the issue, it is not worth all these negative reviews.... Staff were nice and the property was fine except for the very bad smell in the room we were given at check in.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Out of the dozen or so motels in the surrounding area, I wouldn't stay here if they paid me to. Not clean, the room smelled of mold and cigarettes. I saw a bug and the staff was not apologetic or accommodating. Spend the extra $40 and stay next door. They really skimped on any "renovations" they claimed to have made. JUST DO NOT STAY HERE.

We had reservations and came into town late with 2 rooms and 7 small children or we would've we went elsewhere. This was the nastiest place! Everything was dirty. The floors were dirty, not stained but dirty ! The sofa bed was filthy and had no sheets, there were hairs in yhe bath tubs, the sink was clogged , some of the lights didn't work , the plugs were loose and your charger would fall out, the room phone didn't work . I went to front desk and he gave me sheets and I told him about everything he said sorry I'll have somebody call you. Definitely do not stay here ! It's completely disgusting!

The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were super friendly and shared information about the new owner spending money to improve the hotel. The breakfast included eggs, yogurt and fresh fruit. We liked New Braunfels and the hotel so much we stayed another night. The hotel is on busy I-35, but it was quiet inside our room. This is what I expect from a Choice hotel.

Very rude staff, I would not recommend this facility. I found that what they presented on their website missed the mark. There are far too many quality hotels in town to select. Ending up staying at an IAG facility next door.

Upon check-in, there was a mistake made as I changed the total number of nights for my stay resulting in an overcharge to my card. Upon finding the mistake, I contacted Sharon and boy am I glad I got her. She stayed on the issue for me and followed thru until the credit was issued. She explained to me what had happened and why. Sharon also communicated regularly with me to keep me posted. I will be in this area often and Sharon has won a loyal customer for the hotel.

Great customer service. Everyone at the desk makes you feel right at home The rooms we have stayed in at multiple times of the month have been prestige. I will be coming back with the family!! If you are looking for a great/clean hotel this is the one. 🙌

I booked a room at this hotel for an overnight stay as part of a long road trip. The morning we were to check in, I couldn't find email confirmation, so I callled hotel, gave them my name and they were unable to locate a reservation. I panicked and booked another hotel. However, then I found the email. TOO LATE TO CANCEL...so I'm stuck with 2 reservations for same night at different hotel. I stopped to talk to manager, but was unable to get my room refunded....even though it was hotel fault for not being able to find my reservation the morning we were to check in. AVOID BOOKING HERE!

Really enjoyed this Comfort Inn. The check in was quick the attendant very friendly. The rooms were clean and had a fresh smell. Although near I35 it was very quiet inside. slept very well in a clean comfortable bed. The Breakfast was one of the better ones I have had while travelling. everything was fresh and hot.
