We'll start from check-in. When you are greeted by a very dark hall with stale, damp air. You will then be given a key. When you go for several days on business as I did, you have a suitcase with you, which you still have to take out after a long journey - there is no elevator. Open up a room that's scented with a special perfume. You want to go to bed. You lie down in the bed, which is reinforced with a wooden plank. Then you'll be greeted by a spotty carpet and wi-fi, if we can get a signal. Unfortunately the company insists on this hotel so I always have to come here, but if it were up to me the first visit would be enough.
