Aphrodite Beach Hotel

Spent a couple of days here and we loved it. Family run, friendly, clean, good food, beautiful gardens, the rooms were comfy, quiet, spotless and the the staff were so friendly. But most importantly we took our doggies with us and they were greeted with open arms by everyone. Will be returning soon. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Our favorite hotel in Cyprus. Been here for a "weekend" stay for 5 times by now. Excellent service, delicious breakfasts, very clean and comfortable rooms, incredible area - gardens, small church, easy access to the beach. Will we come back? Definitely! We do not know better hotel in Cyprus for this budget category. P.S. It is worth way more than it costs.

Another super visit to our favourite place, we have been visiting the hotel for ten years so the “Welcome Home” sign as you approach the reception, seems very apt indeed! It has been the hottest year ever in Cyprus (according to the internet) and there was certainly evidence of this around the island but the staff at Aphrodite Beach have clearly worked very hard to keep the gardens and orchard going. It was fig time this month and I really enjoyed them with breakfast, breakfast is always a highlight of this hotel, there is so much to choose from, including a cooked option. We ate in most evenings as I really enjoy the lovely buffet, especially the traditional Cypriot dishes like stifado and kleftiko. The various pets (well behaved) give a homely feel, I really enjoyed a drink after dinner, sitting on one of the sofas in the lounge with a cat by my side. This is certainly the place to get away from it all and relax. Looking out at the pouring rain, I wish I were back there now. We are planning a return visit in May next year, each month is different. We always hire a car and May is a lovely month for walking and seeing some beautiful flowers before the temperatures get too hot. We visited at the beginning of September this time and the sea was a beautiful blue and extremely warm. It is so nice to visit a beach with no seaweed or litter. The beach is incredibly clean and there is a certificate on the reception wall stating how important it is to keep the sea plastic free. Is this place for you? I hope so, it is most definitely the place for me!

Amazing hotel, family run, great location, beautiful beach, 10/10 for service from staff as everyone could not do enough for us all and will definitely be going back again soon The family who run this hotel are exceptional and make you and everyone feel at home as nothing is too much for them no matter what time of day you see them. This review should have been written long ago. My husband and I first met Gregoria when we travelled up to visit the Akamas from our home in Larnaca. She was then 15 years old and helping her family run their Taverna on the beach. We knew it was her ambition to eventually build a hotel on the land they owned and the result is what we see now. A haven of peace and tranquility with every comfort one could want. Sadly my husband died in 2017 but I am still able to visit twice a year with my friends Trevor and Sue Woodfield. Trevor, in his review, perfectly describes all that this wonderful hotel has to offer and rightly calls it his Shangri La. Look forward to seeing you, Gregoria, and all the family in September.

Beautiful place, in our view the most beautiful of the whole island. Peaceful, quiet, beautiful beach. The room was spacious, facilities also very good. Very clean. Breakfast with a variety of options, friendly staff. Very good experience.
