We are sorry about the response you got from our other team member who you spoke to in the evening. Honestly, it’s such a rare occurrence for this to happen. At the time, he had been with us for over a year and it was the first time he’d had this complaint. We have since reviewed this as a team and in hindsight, we would have done something differently. After you left we thoroughly checked the room, hot washed everything, fumigated the room & shut it off for a few days. During this process we didn’t see any further bugs so that was good. Being a busy hostel with travellers arriving from all over the world this does sometimes happen. It’s super annoying. We do our best but even so, the odd bug does get in. I hope the rest of your trip went well.

Svar fra overnatningssted: Hi Nestor, Great to hear that you enjoyed the cleanliness & location of our hostel. Regarding having non paying friends over - we have put a lot of thought into this. Where we have got to is this - we prioritise our guests and their experience. If everyone had friends over then that would mean a lot of extras and would impact the vibe of the hostel (and potentially how safe & relaxed our guests feel). My staff do have some flexibility on this depending on a number of different factors. We are lucky to have a great park across the road and many cafe's nearby and we suggest guests meet their friends there or encourage their friends to come join them to stay at the hostel.
