This is on behalf of husband and son staying for hospital trip. Staff are really friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help us. Everything you need in the room, quite a characterful room. will defiantly stay again. Close to food eatery. Easy to find as it's on a main road.

Whole experience was perfect. Frazier was a delight and so incredibly helpful when our flight from Aukland was delayed and we arrived late into Nelson he drove us down to pharmacy before it closed and also helped facilitate making sure we received our delivery of hiking food before our early start the next day and to top it off stored our luggage while we were hiking Abel Tasman. Clean and well taken care of motel and I loved having the roomier space with two levels. Thank you for helping make our time in New Zealand so great!

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was well designed to make use of the available space. There was all the equipment we needed for our stay. Only problem (for me) was that the microwave was placed high and I was unable to reach it - a small foot stool would have been useful. Convenient location, on a main road but didn’t hear any traffic noise. Pleasant, helpful owner.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly owners. Room was immaculate, comfortable and well kitted out. Great location, just outside the city centre. Would definitely stay again, highly recommend a stopover at this well run motel.

The best surprise and the most value for money stay - EVER! Clean spacious and comfortable I will always come back here to stay in Nelson when I visit family. Our host, Fraser is a welcoming combination of Billy Connely and Kojack. Friendly, down to earth, always on hand to make my stay enjoyable. If this review sight had 10 stars I would gladly award them to describe my visit at the Admirals.

Room 21 at admirals motor inn in Nelson was ok and the bed was really good and the tv didn’t have many channels and the wifi was cutting in and out the shower in the bathroom had a curtain which was ok and the bathroom was a good size plus the kitchen was clean

Just stayed at the Admirals for a work event at Nelson Hospital. Would highly recommend - the room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and the host was amazingly friendly. Excellent value for money and a great location :)

I spent a night prior to, and 2 nights after tramping the Abel Tasman. I was in the Executive Studio room 23 overlooking the car park. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The kitchen/bathroom area can be closed off and there is another little office room which is handy for storing items out of the way. Fraser and Kelly were very friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome. My gear was safely stored while I was away. They have bike storage if you need to store a bike. It was an easy 15-20 minute walk into town.
