This is our 3rd time vacationing at sunset at the palms, Negril. Staff is very professional and friendly and go out of their way to make sure you’re happy. Never disappointed.

The property is lovely, many trees and flowering plants everywhere. Pleasant dining areas inside and out. Excellent food and very helpful and friendly staff. A calm and unhurried a**osphere. Beautiful pool and bar. We were a little disappointed with our room, it was quite small and dark. Not much space for clothing and only one hook in the entire room. However, it did not spoil our stay.

The property was very quiet. The staff was very few and slow at times. Pool was always cold and small. Not lively at all in the resort. The beach was very nice. Food choices were very limited, but it did taste good. Gym had a few equipment out or order. The rooms were very nice and cool, giving off a cabin feeling. This resort is for those looking just to relax. Not much music or entertainment.

Overall the stay was nice but as they say, first impressions are everything and it’s true. We arrived at approximately 3:30, the room wasn’t ready and we were hungry after traveling with nothing to eat since breakfast. They advertise that lunch is available until 5:00pm but we sat down to order from the menu and were told 2 items we wanted were out, salad and soup. The menu is mostly sandwiches and burgers which we found later to be the same day after day. There was no hot water to take a shower and the fixtures all need to be replaced, so bad the water shot outside the shower over the curtain and to the floor. The next morning I informed them about the shower and later that day was told it was resolved. We returned from the beach to take showers for dinner reservations and had same problems. I went down to the front to let them know, there was lack of concern but was followed back by someone to look at the problem. At that point I had to go to dinner with no shower after a day at the beach. They resolved the hot water issue that second night.
The concierge service was the absolute worst I’ve ever experienced. They seem to have no tolerance for questions and to be honest know not enough to be able to answer questions. I pre-reserved all excursions and paid in advance but nothing was scheduled or researched ahead of time.
Beach is great and the staff there is wonderful. The dinner services and staff is very good. Some of the bar staff could be more friendly.

I had such an amazing time 10 out of 10 I will return they had the most amazing food and beautiful architecture , I love seeing the humming birds and walking to the beach I loved it the staff is so attentive and friendly I felt at home

This was our first time to Jamaica and to this property. The resort is nice but I would not recommend it as highly as other reviews. The food was limited in variety and flavor. The staff was unfriendly at times which we thought was odd given the fabulous reviews. The pool was unheated and therefor unusable. The beach is beautiful and the gentleman placing chairs and towels was great. Our treehouse was nice but located very near the road so the noise was very loud at times. Overall, it was fine but not as fabulous as others seem to think.

The people & staff were very friendly, and conscientious about all of their work. The resort as a whole needs a major update on their plumbing and door locks. We had issues for 3 days with the toilet not working, the shower having only cold water and very little water pressure. They would come to fix things but it would only last for a short amount of time. They finally moved us to a different room which was a little bit better. During the entire stay our key cards did not work half the time and we would have to go back to the front desk to get them rescanned. Beach area was nice but you had to walk across the road to get there.

I had an exceptional experience at this resort. The hospitality was top-notch, creating a warm and welcoming a**osphere. The chef's choice menu surpassed expectations, offering a delightful culinary journey. The employees displayed remarkable attention to detail, ensuring every aspect of our stay was seamless. They also organized a celebration for my wife flawlessly, making it a memorable experience. Overall, a truly outstanding resort with excellent service and thoughtful touches.

When booking the “deluxe” room i was expecting it being a little away from the road , instead it was right next to it by the fence line , very loud. Also the toilet was broken and kept filling with water every 5 mins . Told the management and nothing was ever fixed, had to fix it myself to not go crazy at night . Staff very friendly and nice , all bartenders are excellent with a great pool .
