Homewood Suites by Hilton Woodbridge

This place should be called Hardwood Bed Suites. If you have back, neck, ribcage, or any issue do not go here!! A park bench is softer than the mattress here. There was no lotion, no shower cap, there was bar soap. I could hear the guy above us going to the bathroom in the middle of the night, literally every drop in the toilet, the rooms are not sound insulated at all. The coffee was cold as was the hot water for tea. The oatmeal was like hot water with non cooked oats swimming in it, totally not cooked. Not happy with this place. Other Homewood Suites are nice.

I’m upset with our stay for a few reasons, I booked thinking we were staying in a highly rated hotel but instead the outside did not match the inside. Our room was very dirty first with the entrance, dirty walls, door barely shuts. Paint coming off the walls, living room is so dated and not inviting! The bathroom seemed like the tub was painted but the accommodations were poor also meaning crappy towels and shampoo etc. the beds and air conditioning were great so that’s where the 3 stars came from. Breakfast buffet was sad but very clean area.

Many, many thanks to the GM & Staff for a wonderful stay. As a Hilton Honors Lifetime Diamond traveler, I've experienced many nights on the road and this stay by far has been one of my best, if not, the best experience. The hospitality was of the charts. I checked in late, was greeted warmly by staff. In fact, all staff are very accommodating and considerate. Room was clean, quiet, no issues. Free parking, free breakfast, free wifi. To kill time while heading for the auto train, you can stop in the outlet mall on the way. Recommended.

I was able to travel back to the Northern Virginia area for the first time in two years for three weeks for work at Fort Belvoir. While most of my colleagues opted to stay out in Springfield, I and another friend preferred the Woodbridge area. I was really impressed with the quality of the room, the friendliness of the front desk, and especially the phenomenal service of two ladies each morning at breakfast. I almost raised my score to a five because of how polite and professional these two were. However, I could only give it a four because of the hot tub which needs some work. All in all, this place is in a great location to go north to Springfield via sideroads to avoid the highway or to travel south to Fredericksburg. The rooms are comfy and big enough to feel at home. They come with a large refrigerator with an ice maker, stove, dishes, utensils, and a wine opener! Breakfast is included as is dinner on Wednesdays. Although the breakfast only changed slightly from day to day, the service was amazing. My wife and I felt like we were home while checking on our home in Lake Ridge. You will enjoy all this place has to offer.
