Ikaros Studios & Apartments

Myself and my wife stayed here for 6 nights and we couldn’t recommend this property and its owners highly enough. The hotel is in a good location close to the beach and a short stroll from Naxos town . The rooms are well equipped with everything you could need . The pool And pool area are beautiful.the hot tub is a worthwhile experience. All in all the hotel is a great place to stay . What makes this hotel stand out however is the unique personal touch which the owners provide as part of the package . There friendly demure and can do attitude shine through every time you meet them . Their local knowledge of restaurants, car hire , pick up / drop off and any other knowledge needed to make a great trip fantastic are offered as part of their package . These people take their day to day job as their vocation and their dedication shines through .we leave feeling lucky to have stumbled upon such hospitality.

Thank you Nikos & Kalli for the wonderful stay. You make the Ikaros Studios & Apartments a special place. The room, as well as the lobby and pool area, were absolutely spotless. The room was a nice size, we had more than enough space, and the beds were comfortable, especially the pillows. We felt very comfortable and safe staying there, including the very spacious pool area. Nikos picked us up from the ferry, even after the company put us on a different ferry causing a large delay. He also drove us to the small Naxos airport, which is very handy at being only 5 min away. And they helped us rent a car for the day, which was conveniently dropped off and picked up right from the apartments. We drove to Chalkio & Filoti for the day and I suggest others do so as well because they are beautiful little towns. We found the location to be excellent. It's a very close 5-minute walk to the Naxos beach and only 5-10 minutes further before you hit the town. The lovely Kalli will give you some suggestions regarding places to explore and eat, which was helpful. Agios Prokopios Beach is also a short bus ride away. In fact, it's technically walkable to get to. My wife and I did it by following the shoreline before cutting in via the road, but we love to walk long distances and don't necessarily advise others to do so. The supermarket is very close by which we took full advantage of every day. We also recommend the bakery next door to the market because they make great coffee. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

This hotel made our Naxos' trip. The hosts, room and location is fantastic, and excellent value for money. The hosts Nikko and Kalli were so welcoming, and could not do enough to make you feel looked after. Nikko kindly collected us from the port, and once at the hotel, Kalli greeted us with homemade lemonade whilst our luggage was taken to our room. Kalli then spent time explaining all of the key areas on the island, and had prepared a fruit basket and water for our room, which was spotless. We also had an afternoon in the hottub and pool area, which is a beautiful setting among their gardens, filled with lots of butterflies. It is a 15 minute walk to the centre, however the route is via the largest supermarket on the island, as well as lots of shops/restaurants, so is a very pleasant walk. The hotel is also a 5 minute walk to the bus stop for all of the main areas on the island, plus only 5 minutes from St. George beach. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer.
