The Rawla Narlai - A Luxury Heritage Stay in Leopard Country

Very well maintained rooms, this property is like a hidden gem in Narlai. Whatever we ordered, was well prepared to our liking and the service is impeccable. Each and every staff member ensured we are well taken care of. We enjoyed the climb to the elephant mountain, jeep safari but something that can't be missed is the Stepwell dinner. That was the best dinner experience I've had so far. It was luxury in the midst of serenity. I would highly recommend this property for a Royal experience.

Of the many Heritage style Hotels we have stayed at in India the Rawla Narlai is one of the best. From the moment you enter the very clean village everything feels cared for. Their charitable trust impacts the village life in a positive way, from the free Ambulance to the education, rubbish collection and employment. This is so much more then a hotel, it is a progressive team that truly care for you, yet allows for a step back in time where you feel held by the history of this palace. Rajasthan hospitality is legendary. The team at Rawla Narlai exemplify this. I would also highly recommend the leopard safari. It's a grand adventure with wonderful guides. Although off the beaten tourist path, this palace hotel will be a highlight to your itinerary. I highly recommend.

This is a hidden gem in midst of Aravali Hills. A perfect location for romantic as well as adventurous getaway. The property experience is full of heritage and royal culture of Rajasthan. One of the building in the hotel is around 300 years old. Post Monsoon and winter is the optimum time to visit. Staff is very cooperative and hospitality is incomparable. Don’t miss the stepwell dinner.

We were only at this hotel for one night but we wished we could stay longer! Wow! It is absolutely beautiful in every way. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are beautifully appointed with every small detail covered. It’s in a village we’re everyone is very friendly - our daughter loved saying hi and “high fiving” the local kids. There is a lot to do near the hotel (safari, step well etc) that we would try when we next visit. I would highly recommend this property!

Narlai- The place and its people and obviously not to leave the resort far behind has a charm of its own. This was our 4th visit in past 3 years and from the part of Rajasthan I come, there are beautiful resorts and Hotels just a throw away. Still somehow this beautiful resort has made a special place in our heart which gives us a reminiscent feeling every time we complete our stay here. Special shout out goes to Mr. Ravindra, the resort manager who gives you a personal touch on each an every step of your stay till the time you reach your destination to the time you leave back to your place. No wonder there is something in the water of this place that even panthers are pretty friendly with the visitors and give you a magnificent siting when you go for the Safari. Not to mention the special feeling you get in the morning when you go for the mountain trekking and once you reach at the top where there is the elephant statue, you get the bird eye view of the whole city of Narlai. In the end I would recommend everyone who are avid travellers to visit this place once in their lifetime and try to cover all the activities that are on the offering from their end. This is truly for me a home away from home. Will visit soon..

Amazing 3 night stay in this beautiful heritage hotel. Fantastic service from Manager Ranjeet all the way throughout the team, especially the lovely Lala 2! Unbelievable Stepwell dinner - amazing experience. Super food - including private dinner by the pool and rooftop dining. Leopard safari in nearby hills - 7 leopards in 4 different sightings in just 2 hours! Loved the guided village walk, climb up Elephant rock for sunset & the sunrise tea trip. Do not miss this amazing rural Rajasthan treat between Jodphur/Jaipur and Udaipur!

A much smaller heritage property with some amazing rooms and views. Wonderful activities including very high chances of leopard sightings. The stepwell dinner is a MUST. The ambience at the stepwell venue is once in a lifetime experience but still bettered by the flavourfull food served there. The breakfast spread is small but you just have to ask and the cook up some amazing indian dishes. The staff are the final perk.

We spent two nights at the hotel, a fabulous room with a balcony view of the granite Rock which we climbed as the sun was coming up. The Stepwell dinner was amazing, until you've experienced it you will never know how good it is. We also did a Jeep ride looking for leopards, we spotted two which was a bonus. The pool area is great and we had a few relaxing hours both days when we ordered lunch and had it delivered pool side with minimum fuss. A very worthwhile stop off

Amazing experience! Just loved it. The Rawla Narlai is a magical place in the middle of the Ragistan countryside. It had been recommended by a friend and I’m so glad we took the trouble to go. The hotel is immaculately presented, the staff are super helpful and the food was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. The village tour was interesting which we did on arrival. Later that evening we did the stepwell dinner which was fabulous! The following morning we got up early and went on the leopard safari. We were so lucky to see three leopards. If you are going to need to stay for at least two nights. One night is not enough to appreciate this magical place. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so memorable.
