First time hotel reviewers - but our stay at Napa Valley Hotel and Suites was so inhospitable, we felt we had to post something. Specifically: 1) As soon as we walked in, we noticed a large, gross, wet spot on the floor that smelled (perhaps mold). 2) There were insects all around the bedroom and bathroom. 3) The WiFi was broken, which interfered with our ability to work from this hotel. For each of these issues, we spoke to the front desk, but they were unable to provide any appropriate remedy. We requested to raise the issues to the awareness of management, but we were told that management was unavailable and the WiFi was simply out of service frequently. We attempted to contact management multiple times, and did not receive a response for over a month after our stay. When the manager finally responded, the response vacillated between implying that we had made up the problems or somehow caused them ourselves. We wish we knew about this beforehand - we would never have stayed here, and so we caution you from bringing your family here either. Hoping this will be our first and last hotel review, since we've never experienced anything like this before, and hope to never again.
