The closest house to the Tianluokeng tulou building group. The family who runs it is very nice. They helped to hire a car for us to pick us up at the train station. The driver was nice, gave reasonable price and was also very helpful and took us the other day around. We coukd soeak Chinese, so communication was not difficult for us. The food given for us was tasty home made food.

Amazing location, the owner is really friendly and helps you arrange the transportation to and from Nanjing and can also find you a driver to explore the Tulou. Definitely recommended.

The host was super helpful and friendly! We arranged a pickup service at Nanjing train station through him, and he was very happy to welcome us to the hotel and offered us tea. He also let us store our bags for the day as we went out to explore after check out. We ordered dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the local dishes were amazing and some of the best food we've had on this trip! Hot water, wifi, and power worked great.

I had an amazing stay. The location is incredible, just next to one of my favourite Tulou clusters. The family was super welcoming! I had the honour to share dinner with them and that made my experience even better as I'm a solo traveler. Even though they don't really speak English, we could discuss through online translator. Thank you again for arranging the tour and transport from the train station

I think this will be hard to beat if you want to visit the Tulou, especially at this price tag. You’re not in a Tulou itself but next door to the most famous Tulou cluster with the best viewpoint in the region only a few minutes walk up the hill. The hotel is of course quite remote but they’ll help you arrange a driver from Nanjing train station, who can also take you around the main attractions for a little over 1,000 RMB. The family running the hotel is very friendly, and while the rooms are basic they are comfortable enough, and again the location is incredible!

Everything was perfect. They picked us up at the railway station and took us to other villages to visit other surrounding tulou and attractions. Very nice family and very helpful. Location is amazing and very confortable. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

The location was AMAZING! And the service was AMAZING! The guesthouse organized a very reasonable Tulou day trip with a private driver for me and return journeys to and from Nanjing station (some 2 hours away). The guesthouse is right next to some of the most famous and beautiful Tulou. I was, sadly, not expecting the squat toilet. But apart from that the room was good, and it’s size was enormous!

I arrived and there was no one there! No one at the check in counter! I called the owner and he said he is “far”!!! And he also rejected my refund request!

Location was fantastic, only steps away from the Tulous. The family owned homestay was very nice, and the owners were all lovely and friendly, who can speak some English. The food they cooked was also very nice. Clean and comfortable room.

We didn’t know the toilet will be a squat toilet but it was still a great room and a great stay! The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful

We had a wonderful experience in this guest house. The people who manage the guest house are very nice and accomodating . Even if we cant communicate well because they cant understand English, they give their best to help us .The guest house is inside the village of the Tianluokeng Tulou Clusters and at the back of this house is the viewing deck . The owner helped us booked a taxi to pick us up Nanjing station and show us around the different Tulous . The driver is very nice and took nice photos of us too! The food is very good , we liked the chaofan and the taro/ sweet potato balls. Its not your typical hotel stay, but it has everything you need and the over all experience is what I like best
