Not far off the beaten path, rise to the sound of the mighty Pacific and surfers making their way to the break. Wait for scarlet macaws to fly over or howler monkeys to let you know you're truly in the jungle.Amazing outdoor spaces with hammocks to lounge the day away or try the covered roof top terrace.About a half hour from Samara. Twenty minutes to Playa Carrillo... a beach you won't forget. It's also perfect for beginner surfers. Estrada is just 10 minutes away. Punta Islita and the Macaw Recovery Network just about a half hour gorgeous drive. And the best, the Camaronal Wildlife Refuge where 5 of the 7 sea turtles in the world come to lay their eggs. The river is also a short walk where you can find maranons and a spectacular hummingbird tree. Equestrian, gyrocopter, quad, SUP, kayak or pretty much all you can imagine for local tours are easily arranged. People are fantastic and the energy is just so great. When it's time for bed, be mesmerized by the stars...no lights for the turtles means a fantastic night sky. Please note, you need a car to get here. It's a really pleasant drive to all the things the area has to offer. There are many hidden beaches and locations you can discover on your own.
