Unfortunately, did not meet my expectations even for a standard 3 star hotel. I believe the rate of 4k per night is more than sufficient for such a property. Avoid paying anything more than 4-5k per night. Limited dinner options (menu attached) - no buffet available. Additionally, the breakfast was cold and lacked basic variety, which is not what I would expect from a hotel of ITC. On a positive note, I must commend the restaurant staff for their courage and the good taste of the food. However, despite this, I still feel that the price of 4k per night is appropriate for this property.

Mr. Farhan Ansari Listen mr. General manager of ashdale Nainital You told to guest and staff members that you worked in "Oberoi" 1st off all your ashdale is not a ITC property and I don't think you ever worked in "Oberoi's" 3rd class property I have ever stayed They don't served buffet breakfast and dinner in the CP / MAP plan Only 2 same staff members in breakfast and dinner in restaurant Don't book this property when you planning to stay in Nainital Uttarakhand

Did not match my expectations. No buffer available yet my breakfast was included in the package. Plus they have limited variety for breakfast and dinner. The staff was very nice is the only plus point. The water in the shower was luke warm, but later it stopped completely and had to take a cold shower. The GM (Mr. Ansari) behaviour was not nice as well , Instead of ignoring he should focus on his work. Or the management should hire a new one

It is an excellent place to stay near the Mall. Offers a private lawn and some peace and for action walk to the Mall Road. Asking back may be difficult so take a cab. Very good staff and neat and clean room. Very few properties have such a good independent heating system in room. Likes the cleanliness and sun soaked lawns with tall trees. Only thing needing improvement is kitchen and Resturant in terms is service time as well as preparation quality

It's an Excellent Heritage property near the Mall road with nice hospitality and good food quality . Easily reached there as it's near to High Court and parking is also sufficient. Property GM Mr Ferhan, Ganesh and team are extremely good and given a warm welcome. In our last many visit at Nainital I found this property the best. We have a great experience and would recommend this Heritage property to stay again. My family enjoyed the Stay.

Absolutely blissful heritage hotel perched up above the hustle and bustle of Nainital. An exquisitely historical experience and a welcome respite relaxing on the terrace and enjoying the well-manicured colonial style architecture and gardens. The rooms are tastefully and authentically decorated and the staff are accommodating and helpful. We were even treated to an invitation to the Boathouse as guests of the Hotel owner. We trekked up to Tiffin Top in the morning from the hotel and left my dad to enjoy the library and hotel setting. We returned in time for cold drinks on the verandah - an exceptional experience.

Stay, staff, food... Everything is spot on. Looking for a wonderful stay in Nainital then you look no further. This is like an oasis in the crowd and chaos of Nainital. Please ensure you include this in your Nainital plan and you will not regret it.

The hotel is a bit pricey for the value offered but one can ignore it for the sake of it's history of Britishers & Royals. But l want to highlight one very negative aspect of this heritage property. It's about the restaurant. It's not food (which is good) but the waiters. Very talkative, nosy & irritating. I know they try to act over friendly to attract more tips, but everyone may not like to be disturbed while talking to his wife or having food. Their uninvited opinions on type of food seniors (we are seniors) should eat was disgusting. One of the waiters wanted to be tipped a night prior to my checkout as he was not on duty at my checkout time. Very cheap, un-royal & un-british. This was never our heritage. I advice the management to restrain restaurant waiters. For this one reason 1 may not return to this property,.

This is the number 1 Hotel in Nainital in all aspects. Service, food, cleanliness, over all hospitality is all very good. Staff is quick and responsive. You get access to Naini Boat House Club if you stay at Ashdale. I will come back to the hotel next in Nainital.
