Central location is a plus: 5 minutes to Sakae metro station via exit 12 & surrounded by an expansive commercial area with its share of tourist attractions. Hotel is not new but the compact-cozy room, helpful staff & reasonable rates are most welcome to a cost-conscious visitor who needs a recharging place after viewing Nagoya sights. Desk & chair in the room + strong wifi facilitate online work on the laptop. Coffee & tea are free. All of the above make for a fairly-satisfied guest.

Hotel S-plus Nagoya in Sakae area is the perfect accommodation to discover Nagoya thanks to its convenient location in both downtown and close to Sakae subway ( 5min by walk). Good price for an accommodation of this type in Japan. Plenty of options to have coffee, breakfast, lunch in the street around the hotel. Hotel offer free coffee on specific time. Recommend this hotel 👍

Hotel staff is friendly and helpful, check in was smooth. Hotel is close to metro station, Oasis 21 is nearby, many restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you all.

I enjoyed my stay, as it was close to various tourist sites, shopping centers, restaurants, and subway stations. However, the breakfast wasn't as tasty as claimed.

It’s an old hotel in Sakae. Lawson located in the hotel. Rooms are dated and compact. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Although the building was a bit aged, the room and bathroom are well maintained. comfortable stay for 2 people. and nice location with convenient store and near the subway station.

Nice hotel and reception, have free coffee everyday, near station, have Lawson and nearby 24 hours drugstore. Love it

Old hotel but with clean amenities and excellent location. Cosy room with everything you would need for travel. My only criticism is that there was no where for me to fill up my water bottle. However everything else was great.

The location is decent, a bit far from the nearest subway and bus stations, but still within walking distance to various places. The building's exterior reminds me of Monica and Rachel's New York Friends apartment. As anticipated, the room was small. However, the air conditioning proved challenging during my winter stay, as it was set to heating. To achieve a comfortable sleep temperature, I consistently had to keep the window open, exposing me to city noise, including morning police and ambulance sirens. Despite these drawbacks, the stay was satisfactory for its price. I'm not a picky person and can tolerate the downsides without any issues. I share these details to assist others in making informed decisions when choosing a hotel room in Nagoya.

Good hotel for the price. Amenities very good. But a bit far from subway station. Overall could be better

The hotel room temperature control is fairly odd. First night my room is very hot at night. I think the heater is on, but theres no way to turn it off I had to open the window. Second night the heater isn’t on anymore and it was pretty nice. The hotel location is excellent! I walk a lot and it’s fairly convenient to the places around. Lots of food choices and pharmacies nearby. Theres a pretty good ramen shop just below the hotel and the walk to a nearby Mirai Tower is within 10mins.

Clean and quite big room. Makeup room every day. Location is in the middle of city. Near oasis 21 and many shopping mall. Nice location. Recommended for every one. Nice coffee

The building and the room is old, but the hotel is located in the center of the city with very good access. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a place to stay for a reasonable price.
