Location is good, but bed too soft.. overall experience is excellent!

Basic cleanliness and amenities in the room for an old hotel. It is high time for the carpet to be shampooed and to add few more down lights for the room ceiling. The room is too dim for the carpeted area. However, the city/sea view from the the room is beautiful and we love the sun shine coming into the room. It will be wonderful if the hotel can convert some of these room types into 4 bedded family rooms with fresh carpets and more lightings. We had our room tripped on the 2nd night and the air con is not strong. Shopping malls and food court/ other eateries and the wet market are only short distance walk. Fair breakfast varieties but only has 1 bread toaster with faulty roller(you gotta stay to toast your bread instead of auto rolled down once toasted)

THW BCC HOTEL AND RESIDENCE. It's a 4 stars hotel the hotels is clean and the whole hotel staffs are very polite the breakfast buffet have a lot of variety of delicious food especially the staff could help the vulnerable guest. Nearby there is a very big food court know as a2, at night is crowded. There are also amenities nearby the Grand Batam Mall shopping mall, JC supermarket, Batam City Square Mall and many others

Room: booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 nights. - poorly maintained. Shelves, racks etc were all falling apart. Kitchenette tap looks like it was going to fall off. - dirty rooms, dirty bedsheets, dusty. Shower towels were surprisingly clean though. - no hand towels provided - poorly designed facility. Both master bedroom & common toilet shower area does not have shelf/rack to place shampoo etc. Master toilet shower head was loose and couldn’t stay at the adjusted height. Shower curtain was redundant as water splashed out of the shower area from below the shower curtain. For common toilet, the shower head height cannot be adjusted. Even though shower area had glass door partition, water could still seep out and wet the entire toilet floor - aircon was cooling, but noisy - room and bedrooms had a weird smell - corridor had no aircon, so it was really hot when walking from lift lobby to the room - although no smoking sign was there, guests smoked at the corridor and place reeked of cigarette smoke - lift was very slow Staff: - staffs at entrance who helped to open the doors were friendly, always giving guests warm smiles. - no comments for other staffs as there was not much interactions. - Nice gesture by the staff by preparing a welcome cake and note. Breakfast: - poor. - lousy selection of food - really crowded and difficult to find a table - did not replenish the food timely Location: - walking distance to A2 food court (but I personally will not recommend eating here too) - near to grand batam mall (10mins walk) Overall: - will not recommend. Given my poor experience, the price of S$963.47 for 2 nights is really overpriced! Stay at your own risk.

Service & amenities excellent as always. That's why I usually choose to stay at this hotel. Also for the great location to shopping, spas, cinema, karaoke, food.....

Terrible cleanliness. Stayed here for 2 days, the room has cockroaches, we killed 10 of those in the span of days, asked for a change of room but the front desk told us it’s full. The bed sheet is grey and dirty, we have to request house keeping to change it. Water pressure is good. Staff are friendly. That’s the only 2 good thing for this hotel. The room and facility is really old and need a major overhaul.
