Mysore County Retreat

This property may have been great once, but it’s clear that it’s in need of some maintenance. While the facilities are well-thought-out, there are visible signs of patch-up repairs throughout the property. Room Experience: Check-in was smooth, but the first room we were shown needed repairs and had a musty smell. The wood flooring, which must have been beautiful once, was peeling off. After requesting an upgrade, I was moved to a larger room for a nominal charge, which was better and more spacious. The room had two separate areas for sitting and sleeping, a small dressing area with a cupboard and mirror, and a good shower. The AC in this room also didn’t work properly, and I was advised to just switch it off if it got too cold. However, the AC was still problematic. Despite the room being large and comfortable, sleep was disturbed by the AC, but with pleasant weather, we were able to manage without it. The balcony was huge, although we didn’t use it much. Food: The food was very good. We had the buffet, which offered a standard variety but was flavorful and tasty. The staff was courteous and helpful, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Conclusion: I’m giving this property 4/5, mainly due to the helpful and friendly staff and the quality of the food. While the room was spacious and the location was good, the maintenance issues with the AC and repairs were disappointing.

We have stayed at this hotel. All the staff is very helpful ful. Specially Mr. Manjunath Naik was the most helpful in all . He went out of his way to help us. He was very courteous and kind to make our trip memorable. Thanks Mr. Naik! and the team. Good place! I recommend this place.

Where do I start.... This was my first time visit to County retreat mysore i it has been delightful stay so beautiful and so comfortable, the hotel management and staff has been extremely kind us especially Veerappa At pool side bar . I was bite nervous because of my stomach issue. As he get to know he brought for me a buttermilk which was very refraction. We enjoyd your special cocktail & Duplex mushroom specially morning breakfast idly semiya uttapam this all was new for me to try. Kudos chef Krishna,naresh taken care.It was a best fnb service I have experience thank you for taking care of our entire stay and made our stay and made r stay a remarkable one.
