We really enjoyed our stay. As others have said, you will experience the warm hospitality the second you pull up to the hotel. The porters greeted us, offered to help with our luggage, and explained the check-in and parking process to us. The front desk staff was also really friendly, and we kept coming back to the Starbucks Bistro in the morning because the baristas were so nice. Housekeeping is every other day, but we found that housekeeping offered to provide us anything we might need even if it wasn’t our cleaning day. Beyond the friendliness, the cleanliness of the hotel stood out to us. If you’re up early, you will see the outside cleaning and tidying routine every morning from your balcony. The team there cleans the pools and other water activity areas every morning, and they clean up all the trash and reposition all the lounge chairs, etc. To be honest, the cleaning crews of the outdoor areas are saints; by the nighttime, it’s pretty messy outside, and they make it look brand new. My kids loved the water slides and the lazy river. The lazy river (and many of the other water areas) got very crowded when we were there, but there were some less crowded areas as well. Management could probably be stricter with the guests, as most disregard many of the posted rules. The Breakers parking deck, which is also used by Courtyard guests, is a mixed bag—very tight and blind turns inside the deck, and the elevator area is sort of grungy. That said, the parking is convenient and reasonable at $20/day.
