After staying in everything from hostels to resorts under The Leading Hotels of the World across multiple countries, the Mandarin Oriental in Muscat stands out as the best experience we’ve ever had. This hotel is a strong competitor, and arguably even a champion, among the finest resorts. The staff made all the difference. Sheryl, the Guest Relations Manager from the Philippines, leveraged her decades of experience, displaying exceptional interpersonal and management skills that made our stay unforgettable. Gracia, our attentive waitress from Indonesia, shared her culture with us, making us feel like special guests in her home. Otman, a waiter from Morocco pursuing his MBA, showcased excellent management abilities. Marsya, a front desk agent from Malaysia, demonstrated remarkable initiative, coordinating her team to make our stay truly unique and memorable. Mohamed, a friendly and knowledgeable pool concierge from Morocco, created personal connections by sharing his experiences. Murshid, the valet service manager from Tanzania-Omani, efficiently turned potential inconveniences into smooth solutions. Hilton, another pool concierge from Zimbabwe, was consistently kind and attentive. Djuro, our bartender from Bosnia, served with professionalism and warmth. The staff treated us like family, making this the best customer service experience we've ever had.
