Pakistan raves about its hospitality, but these people couldn't care less about foreign guests. I paid a lot of money to stay here thinking I would receive first-class service. My paid breakfast includes a choice of only two items, potato curry (it was bland and made with no love or care) or an omelette. The restaurant was dark. I had to ask for the lights to be switched on. It was cold (it snowed 4 days ago), I had to ask for the heater to be switched on. I had to ask for juice. Basically, I only got items by asking even though I've paid for a full breakfast. Staff couldn't care less what you've paid as they have your money. I ordered a margherita pizza for lunch. It was disgusting dough with cheese (and a tiny bit of beef salami I added as extra topping). I ate two a half slices as I was hungry but felt sick from it. What chief doesn't know how to make the world's simplest pizza?!! Many of the staff don't understand basic requests, and you have to follow up on each request twice - at a minimum. Feedback to management doesn't work as they blame staff. Management and staff need retraining, particularly about taking accountability and responsibility and following through. I asked a staff member re gym equipment, he said he'd get back to me. Never heard back. I followed up and then learned it's not open till the afternoon. There's hardly anyone here and they can't look after one foreigner. I'm practically begging to get the service I paid for! Its left me feeling awful, sad and disrespected.
