Great hotel for families. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment, two big bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, large balcony, bathroom with a bath. Room was perfect for our young family of 4. Pools were freezing but great for families, with good choices of water slides and play areas. No soft play as stated. Park was too difficult for our toddler. Great family entertainment and activities running all day long. A few small shops near hotel and pharmacy. Good choices of food in both restaurants, all allergens were listed which was very helpful to our milk allergic toddler, however could easily be cross contaminated due to often having to lift food over another food. On two occasions the sausage served at breakfast was raw in the middle. Disappointing things - POOL BAR! Really long queues at the pool bar and it’s the only bar open in the day. Can’t help yourself to soft drinks so really slow service. Often only one person serving. NO indoor pool, we had 2 overcast days so didn’t feel we got good value for money being all inclusive on these days as only pool bar is open in the day time. A LA CARTE (taverna)- was disappointing, similar food and quality to what was served in the main restaurant.

We arrived as a family of 5 around 11.30am and was told our room would be ready around 2.30pm which was a bonus as we was expecting to wait around until 4pm. We was shown to a room to put all our belongings in, given all information and wrist bands and could use everything straight away. First thing I noticed was the tiles had been replaced around the pool area since we were here 2 years ago, So much better! No where near as slippery. Our room was a lot bigger than the previous one we had which was great. Situated looking over the main pool. It was spotless and comfortable and had everything we needed. Housekeeping attended everyday apart from Sunday&Wednesday and replenished all towels & toilet roll. They also remade the beds with clean linen each day. We ate in the green & grill, the restaurant and the garden BBQ, all of which had a good selection of food each time. The staff there work relentlessly clearing the areas and keeping them clean whilst providing a warm and friendly welcome. Special shout out to Ossumma, Pape & Refa(sorry I’ve spelt them wrong but hoping you’ll know who I mean) who you can tell really enjoy being there and helping all the guests. My kids 15,12&10 all enjoyed the pools and spent 90% of their week in them. Yes they are cold when going in however once in it warms up, and it’s May so we expected them to be cold. On the Friday the TUI reps came out and did a pool party with music&bubbles which was great! Would be good if it was done a couple of times a week as everyone there seemed to really enjoy it. We can’t fault a single thing about this hotel and was sad to leave. Outside of the hotel there are a couple of supermarkets which are reasonably priced, a Turkish kebab take away and some souvenir shops. There are buses every 15 mins from outside the hotel to take you into Alcudia port which is beautiful! The only downside which has nothing to do with the hotel was the Dino land & Caves excursion, it cost €208 for the 5 of us and we was told it was a 5 hour trip, what we didn’t realise was 3 hours of it was travelling so we only had an hour in each park which was a rush. We will 100% return.

The good points- Albin and Borgun, the excellent Tui Blu fitness instructors, gve clear instructions in a variety of classes. Albins aqua fit sessions were a highlight of the holiday. Sunset yoga is so restful. Both are enthusiastic and adapt sessions to an individuals needs. They made the holiday. The rooms are clean, comfortable beds and we had an excellent view of the beach. A lovely beach, with easy access and a warm sea. The staff are friendly. The bad points- The pools are freezing cold. The food is forgettable, tasteless, often cold served in manic restaurants. There is a repetitive, limited choice. The quality of ingredients are low. The large number of school age children was unexpected as it is school term time. We ate out at Figueret restaurant which was delicious.

I’d like to start with how the experience went from entering the hotel we entered around 3am after an early morning flight and was greeted by 2 gentleman. Both welcoming and polite. Was checked in and charged the room tax etc and he helped us to our room which was nice. However upon entering we quickly realised it was the wrong room. We paid for a sea view with a bunk bed for my daughter with additional needs. My daughter was screaming as she’s never slept in a bunk bed before and was actually more excited for this than the whole holiday itself. Even on the transfer to the hotel she asked around 200 times for reassurance she was getting the bunk bed and I assured her yes. Instead we was placed in a dingy small room with a broken fridge a small sofa bed for her bed no nice view. I called reception immediately with my child absolutely screaming and heart broken. The man could hear her crying down the phone and I told him I wanted the room we paid for. He was rude in saying you will have to ask reception in the morning to see if one is available as we have nothing now. So after HOURS of trying to settle my child down we finally went to sleep. We then realised in the morning he hadn’t given us our wrist bands for all inclusive so we went I reception around 10am to ask if we could have them to be told no your self catering… I then luckily got up my email confirmation and found out the man thought we was a different Taylor not who I am.. ( my surname is Taylor and another guest had the same surname ) after a few staff investigated the man actually gave this other guest our room and our room wrist bands and assigned us to a crappy room!! After a 30 min wait of management checking we was given our wrist bands and assigned a nicer room with a beautiful view and very spacious however no bunk bed. But we wasn’t going to move our cases again we was tired and with a Sen child in a pram we can’t keep dragging cases around it’s tiring. We accepted the new rooms and the apology and went about to enjoy our holiday. Weather was beautiful although 2 thunderstorms one during the night one during the day so not too bad, sea was a bit murky after the storm but soon cleared up after 5:6 hours, sea is beautiful however you get hounded by people selling hats blankets hair braiding or massaging again this can be really daunting to a Sen child especially as they don’t back off and stand there over you as your building a sand castle. And I’m sorry who bring cash to a beach directly linked to the hotel, there’s nothing to pay for unless hiring a slide boat. Views are beautiful sea is crystal clear I didn’t see any homeless cats or animals once which was nice. Bar was good some cocktails chargeable but I think reasonable only 3 ish euros with writs bands, entertainment was also good you can download blue app and see everything that is on, however a lot of drunk men without children shouting which is scary from a child’s point of view, I think it should be restricted

This is the second time staying here and enjoyed it just as much as the first time. The access to, and the beach are excellent, this is probably the biggest draw. The AI is fine, plenty of choice, something for most. As I’ve probably said before, if you’re expecting Gordon Ramsey to cook you dinner, don’t go all inclusive in Spain. Room was nice and clean(block A pool veiw). The hotel has an army of staff, none of which I found rude. I noticed people leaving bad reviews, usually about cold pool and not up to there expectations of a 4*. On the first note, spend a bit more money and go in July/August, you will probably find the pool temperature warmer. On the second note, TUI advertise Alcudia Pins as a 4*. It is actually a 3 * hotel and is advertised as such everywhere else. Overall the hotel is a great family location, and I would recommend you go and see for your self. This is the only hotel I’ve stayed in twice, and I probably would go again.

Home from a week stay at Tui Blue Alcudia pins.. Travelled as a family of 5.. what can I say.. AMAZING hotel, service, staff, Food, entertainment, we loved every minute of this place.. would definitely recommend and return. Thank you to this hotel, no complaints what so ever.
