Regent Hotel

Good location but that's is about all that is positive. Dirty room. No hot water on first night. We put food and drink in the fridge on first day and they turned fridge off in the morning. Manager very rude when we complained about lack of hot water.

A pleasant 3 star hotel in the heart of Colaba - a very convenient location. The rooms were comfortable and clean with good air conditioning. The small lobby features a couch and chairs which are well occupied by congenial guests who avail themselves of the carafes of Arabic tea and coffee provided. Although breakfast was included in the room rate, the only disappointment was that the hotel breakfast only offered a choice of items from an ala carte listing and did not feature an Indian buffet as do many other hotels. We checked into this hotel twice in the course of our travels and found that the rooms were not always fully provisioned at check in (no hand towels on one occasion, for example). But the service staff were able to promptly and cheerfully fulfill our requests and things were quickly made right. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. You will never find a more hospitable and welcoming staff. The front desk staff make you feel welcome from the moment of arrival to the moment of departure. They are kind, competent, and caring people who know the meaning of hospitality with fluency in multiple languages making communication seamless and reliable.

Regent Hotel Colaba in Mumbai served as the perfect retreat for our October 2023 trip. The impeccable hospitality from the incredibly friendly and efficient staff made our stay truly delightful. We extend our gratitude to Manager Joseph for his continuous support. While the hotel maintained high cleanliness standards, we suggest enriching the breakfast spread by introducing a wider variety of fruits and ensuring the availability of oats porridge.

Regent Hotel I had a great experience. The location was perfect for my needs - it was adjacent to the gateway of India. The hotel itself was modern and well-maintained, with a clean and spacious lobby area. It was a great stay. Everything was well-equipped, and special care is taken for hygiene... Highly Recommended!

A wonderful stay and experience! Based in the heart of Coloba, a one minute walk from the Gateway/ Markets and restaurants. The Hotel is well worth its money compared to others in the area.. and believe you me I visited a few !! The hotel is clean, well kept and the service is exceptional!! I was definitely treated like a Prince with every request carried out! The reception staff ( especially Joseph ) are friendly and professional. The room services, housekeepers and porters always work with a smile. This is a place I’d definitely return too !! Thank you to all for making my stay memorable!

Had a pleasant stay at Regent Hotel, excellent location. Big, spacious and comfortable rooms. Staff was friendly, and since it was walking distance from Taj and Gateway of India, we loved it. We did a bit of shopping around the area, and loved walking around. I’d definitely stay at Regent again.
