We traveled to five cities in India, and this was by far the best hotel we stayed at the entire trip! The rooms were clean, very pretty and spacious, and the staff were always smiling and very friendly (Nayim was especially helpful at getting everything we needed). The location was perfect as you are close to restaurants, shops, and the Gateway of India. Breakfast was complimentary and delicious, and it was very easy to arrange a taxi at the front desk. We look forward to coming back in the future!

I had a fantastic stay at the Ascot Hotel in Mumbai. The location is superb—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around and explore nearby attractions. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, even allowing us an early check-in which was a huge plus after a long journey. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable—perfect for a relaxing stay. Honestly, there was nothing to complain about. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great experience in Mumbai!

My second time in the hotel. Excellent customer care. Room perfectly clean and hotel is very well located. Good breakfast. Easy shopping around Colaba. They were able to allow late check out which suited me perfectly. Hats off to Mr Shashank and Nayeem. Surely coming back again.

Ascot Hotel went above and beyond in helping us find another hotel due to my mistake in the dates for our stay. Not only did they help find another hotel, they paid for my taxi and sent help to make sure we arrived at the new hotel. We are very grateful for their help. I would absolutely use this hotel.

We stayed one night in a deluxe room and found it very spacious and clean. The bathroom was big with excellent water pressure. On request the hotel arranged pickup cab from airport which waited for us at Sidhvinayak temple for our darshan at reasonable price The location is great, Colaba market is at the doorsteps. Gateway of India is just a street away which can be enjoyed for evening sight and sound show One should visit LEOPOLD cafe which is at walkable distance for breakfast although the hotel provides complimentary breakfast The staff are very courteous and helpful and always asks what they can do for you.

We enjoyed our wonderful stay at the Ascot Hotel. It’s an oasis of serenity from the crazy streets of Mumbai. The staff is exceptionally wonderful, and would go out of their way to do anything for you. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quite soundproof to keep out the noises from any nearby streets at night. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mumbai. It’s a wonderful location, and within walking distance of many of the tourist sites.

If you're searching for the perfect spot in the heart of Mumbai and Colaba, look no further than Ascot Hotel! My American friend and I were pleasantly surprised by the rooms, the cleanliness, and the impeccable service. The check-in and check-out were effortless, courtesy of Shashank and Aamla. But our favourite experience was with one of the night-time managers (Theophilus Menezes) who woke us up in the crack of dawn to take us to the Sassoon Docks, which is a short-ish walk from the hotel itself. It was there that we witnessed the fishmongers pull in the catch of the day and get a true glimpse of Mumbai. I highly recommend anyone who's a photographer or has an interest in seafood to head down with Theophilus for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Can't wait to return to Mumbai and stay at Ascot Hotel again.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfy. Nice hot shower with good water pressure. I can’t comment on the food as we ate out of the hotel but the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They organised the airport transfer for us for a reasonable price and let us store our bags at the hotel while we explored the city on our last day.
