The hotel is located in very strategic location. Near to Pasar Karat Muo, coffee shops, street arts. Very cute and aesthetic deco. Can see bandar Muar overlooking the river from rooftop. Comfy bed. But the hotel room has smelly odour, and a bit small for the price.

Nice boutique hotel. Cosy and have a good location. Good service from the reception.

Stay here for few nights due to business trip. The location is good, in the centre of Muar, convenient and accessible to town areas and shopping mall. The bed is comfy, amenities is ok, staff is friendly. However one thing can be improved better is my room condition 102, probably the moisture is high so the room has the mouldy smell. The wall and the mirror looked tainted, not sure is mold or something else. Will come back for the stay but probably not this room.

The room light is unstable; it blinks when I turn on the heater. However, the location is very good.

I had a great stay at Muo Boutique Hotels. It’s a cozy, comfortable spot that’s perfect for a business trip. The staff were friendly, and my room was well-equipped for work. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a simple, relaxing stay!

It is a strategic location with a nice setup for the overall hotel environment. The staffs were friendly and polite. They also gave us some tidbits and hand-drip coffee as a welcome gift. At the counter, a simple map leaflet shows you various places and attractions around Bandar Maharani. Just the room I stayed in has a damp smell, hence there's a mini dehumidifier.

All is great. Room is a bit small but located around a strategic place.

Arrived at 2PM unfortunately our room still not ready. Took them about an hour before we can checking in. You need to place cash deposit 100MYR. They dont accept card or QR. This is among the drawbacks of this hotel. Talking about room, we get tatami room type which the room size consider small. I dont have enough space to perform my prayer. Cleanliness is okay.

Location is fantastic as you are already in the middle of town.We drove to Muar and parking is not an issue as the local council is in the process of changing parking scratch coupons to mobile apps and during this grace period of transition, parking anywhere in the town of Muar is free 24/7 and days of the week. Other than that, the hotel also has parking lots for hotel guests so for those who drive, no issue. We have the basic room (102) which is on the first floor. There’s no window in the room and the room is tiny. As we only stayed for one night we didn’t mind the small room at all however you may consider bigger rooms for longer stay. Check in is STRICTLY 3pm onwards! We were here at 2:32pm and we were asked to come back later. We stayed at their comfortable but small lounge until 2:51pm, the receptionist still wouldn’t entertain us. There’s no restaurant at the hotel so don’t expect breakfasts but when you are in Muar, food stalls and restaurants are everywhere who needs hotel breakfast anyway! The room is small but nice comfortable bed and we had a good stay. The air-conditioning works too well and we had to put the temperature up otherwise it’d be freezing. Will we come back again when we next visit Muar? For the price we paid, absolutely!

The hotel’s overall theme was more of a minimalist style. The room was somewhat small but still acceptable, and the location was okay.
