Golden Mare - All Inclusive

We are extremely grateful for the wonderful vacation at this hotel. I have yet to encounter such a dedicated and accommodating staff, who take care of guests with such kindness and a genuinely pleasant attitude – this is undoubtedly what makes this hotel exceptional. The view of the mountains from the pool? Or the view of the sea from the Sky Bar, where you’ll meet an absolutely delightful bartender? The food here is excellent, offering a wide selection every time, with plenty of vegetables and meat – and the desserts are truly exceptional. The beach in front of the hotel is also fantastic, very calm and peaceful. The beds are comfortable, and the shower experience was great as well. We have never experienced such breathtaking views from a hotel before – the entire property is truly beautiful. Every evening, there was live music by the pool, and we will undoubtedly be delighted to return!

Excelent cusine, friendly and very helpfull staff as well as all-present management. Hotel itself comprises of a few buildings-everyone will find what he looks for. The spot on the island is very nice and close to mountine tracks. 30 minutes from Corfu Town by car is also convenient enough for one who seeks peace and fun when needed.

SO DISAPPOINTING!! We booked this hotel in January for my 18th birthday and were due to leave in 2 days just to receive an email saying we could no longer stay in the hotel as it 'was unavailable' on the dates we had booked. I have now spent my birthday looking for alternative hotels for 2 days time which unfortunately gave us a limited choice for very high prices and therefore had to settle with much less. So much for an unforgettable 18th birthday!!!

Arrived on Monday 9th early hours and was greeted at reception with some sandwiches and snacks which was nice. Supported up to our room. We did have a few issues with the first room and was moved pretty quickly to a new one. We were also given two complimentary massages for the troubles. I had also injured myself at the water park and all the staff (especially Demi) have been lovely and accommodating towards me. The food is reasonably good and the ice cream is lovely. The pool area is nice with lots of sun beds in the sun and shades

Had a great 11 night stay. Rooms were so clean with a fabulous sea view. Food was plentiful and very good I enjoyed every meal and staff are friendly and polite. There are a lot of steps but you are warned of this before booking. The beach is all pebbles but the sea is beautiful and so clear-we went to the nautilus beach bar - again great food and friendly staff. 10 euros for 2 beds and a brolly. Bus stop right outside hotel for Corfu Town & Kassiopi both worth a visit. We went on the beach Bar- B- Q boat trip with TUI and really enjoyed it. The shower room if you have a late return flight is immaculate and free - with fresh towels for your shower. Great relaxing holiday with perfect (if a bit hot) weather and met some lovely people.
