The charming village of Langley is a mile and a half away - a five minute drive or a walk along the beach - with shops, galleries, restaurants, and more. One highlight of the Log Castle is that the kitchen and two bedrooms are each in the eight-sided tower - try not to argue over who gets the top tower room with its phenomenal views.
