Cedars Mount View is perfect for a romantic getaway. Everything is thought of by Christelle & Gilbert and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a secluded weekend

At first we were worried about all the grey ski and rain but it made so much more relaxing and cosy. Fireplace going, huge spa both with floor to ceiling windows sliding open to expose yourself to the elements. Surrounded by tree, wildlife and greeted by kangaroos in the morning. The finishes on this cottage were top of the line. Can’t wait to return.

Cannot recommend enough! We spent 2 nights at Cedars and wish we had more. Our villa was completely secluded and surrounded by beautiful bush and wildlife. We loved drinking our morning coffee on the deck and listening to the birdsong. There was a delicious breakfast provided, chocolates, macaroons, wine and coffee. The villa was exceptionally clean and cozy. The small details made our stay bliss. This was the perfect place to unwind and relax.

What can I say. Wow! Wow! Wow! This place is absolutely stunning. The detail in the finishes are impeccable. My wife and I stayed in villa Alaia and very highly recommend it. Wake up in the morning to kangaroos everywhere. Nothing beats sitting out on the deck having a morning coffee to the beautiful views. We will definitely be back again.

If you are looking for a place for peace and quiet but with a bit of luxury look no further. For a place with no reception so you don’t get annoying calls or anything like that. Place has internet access and some points where I was staying you could get a signal. The villa I stayed at was the Treehouse. The place was set out so nice and clean. They had the music going for a nice calming effect as soon as I came inside the villa. The kitchen was great to use. The shower and spa was so great to use. The king size bed was like a dream to sleep in. The fireplace was great to set the mood even if you didn’t want it on heat as there was a mode for it. A huge shout out to Christelle and Gilbert as they were wonderful host with quick responses to questions and the beautiful place to stay. Just a heads up to anyone who’s looking to book this place yes you will have to drive on dirt roads. So any one driving in a freshly washed shiny low car probably not the best move. Although I enjoyed the drive out there as there was basically no traffic and not a boring straight road. 10/10 100% will stay again but will mostly try a different villa to compare them.

This was our second stay at Cedars MountView and this in the Treehouse Villa, and once again, it was nothing short of magical. Every detail – from the beautifully curated décor and impeccable cleanliness to the thoughtfully provided food and wine – was perfect. Surrounded by stunning nature, it felt like a peaceful retreat from the world. The highlight of our stay was the incredible helicopter pick-up and drop-off to Leogate Estate for a wine tasting and lunch – an unforgettable experience, all arranged seamlessly by the wonderful team at Cedars. We can’t wait to return again. This place truly is a slice of paradise in the Hunter Valley.
