The Moso

The Moso was a fabulous quiet adult luxury getaway, only 40 mins from the airport in Efate. The local staff were excellent, so caring and determined to make our holiday special. To relax and enjoy the beautiful island with locals was incredibly special, the food amazing and to operate so sustainably, filtered drinking water and solar power, was an added plus for us.

A very relaxing week. Beautiful views. Very comfortable bed. Lovely hot water in both the indoor & outdoor showers. Hill top villa was very private. The food was simple but good. Very sensitive tummy traveller had no upsets. Occasionally they run low on a few things, by nature of the non main island location I guess… ran out of ice cream for 1 day for example. Although it may have been a fridge issue, because the next day, 5 new refrigerators arrived. You can’t have quiet and a bit off grid AND every creature comfort of a big hotel. So make a choice. My choice is that I’ll be back! Chef went fishing off the beach one afternoon. The fish curry that night was great. Great pina colada. Lovely fresh papaya and drinking coconuts. I don’t really want to rave too much - because the lack of crowd in the appeal! Resort beach is nice. The local beach (2km walk) is exceptional….good snorkelling can be accessed there. Or get one of the kayaks and paddle for 20 mins and you’ll find some stunning snorkelling. Things I’ll be doing next time - bonfire dinner on the west coast beach. Also Jerry’s Kava bar just a walk along the beach toward the south. All the staff are lovely. Get a massage - Brigette has great hands. See you next winter x

Fantastic breakaway! We stayed 7 nights with plenty of activities available or the option to do absolutely nothing. Very comfortable bed in roomy accommodation. Great snorkelling and villages a short walk away. Enjoyable meals. Wonderful staff who help to encourage a relaxed atmosphere. Very well organised. Would highly recommend The Moso
